Samurai Blue Sushi and Sake Bar

Delicious food and quality service. If you are looking for a place for Japanese food, this is the best option in Tampa.

Sushi here is always good… They are often out of the beer that I like, but I’m always able to find a substitute. Service is always good and we never wait for a table. They have accommodated our party regardless of size over the last couple of years and we’ve always enjoyed eating here.

If you’re looking to sip wine and wonder if your server’s gone missing in action, this is the place for you. We placed our order, got our glass of wine and bottle of sake, and then… radio silence. For 45 minutes, no one checked in, no food arrived, and we were completely ignored. We finally had to say we were leaving for someone to remember our sushi order—which magically appeared just then, minus the seaweed salad we’d ordered. Disorganized, inattentive, and not worth the wait.

First timers at this restaurant! Food was really good,great variety to choose from. Was not crowded but there was a lot of wait time in-between wanting to order more sushi. Waiter needs to check in more frequently.

This place is ridiculously slow . It’s insane!!!! Customer service is terrible! They weren’t even busy it took over 50 minutes for my order

Good was good. The service staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is okay, but I'm comparing it to their other restaurant in Ybor City and that's why it only gets three stars.

Amazing food

The sushi rolls and nigiri are very fresh and tasty. The staff were amazing. I can't wait to go back to try their other dishes.

My girlfriend and I have tried every sushi restaurant in the Carrollwood/Lutz area and this is by far the best you will find unless you are going to downtown Tampa. I order here 2 times a week.

Been coming here for over 10 years. I absolutely love the Kamikaze Roll and the Tuna Summer of Love. Worth the drive every time.

Food is getting terrible compared to the last visit. I probably will not go there

The sushi is fresh and delicious and our server was super friendly. The restaurant is modern and the overall ambience is great. Definitely not a cheap dinner but reasonable for fresh made sushi!

Bathrooms were gross. Sat in the private area and one of the chairs had a splinter and destroyed a new shirt and let the staff know. They said they would have to fix the chair. Never was offered refills on water. Food was OK. Will not return to this establishment. No wonder they are a 3.5 star on Yelp.

Waited almost an hour for uber eats pick up and never received my meal then was charged by uber.
