Great find in Tampa! We were in the area for an appointment and looking for a place to grab something to eat and so glad we found this place. One of the best Cubans we’ve had! Big portions so I saved my half for later and it was still amazing! The homemade chicken soup was fantastic and perfect for the cold rainy day. The guava/cheese pastry was so fresh and perfect. My favorite is the iced cafe con leche’. Hadn’t had one in a while and wow it was perfect. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and even prepared for the kids to come as my daughter was given a coloring book and crayons while waiting for our food. Can’t wait to go back because seriously the best and freshest food we’ve had I awhile!

First off, I wasn’t planning on leaving a review so pardon the bite taken out from the picture. I’m a military transplant that is always on the lookout for good food anywhere I go. This is by far the best Cuban sandwich I have had in the greater Tampa area. Not only that but the owner was so sweet and showed us her beautiful artwork on the wall highlighting her family history. Then she started running me through some much needed Spanish refresher training. I’m afraid that if I go back I will be fluent in a matter of weeks! Que Rico!!

Wow this place came highly recommend by my local coworkers especially their cuban sandwich. Wow the best cuban ever. The owner and his wife cook everything from scratch. The sandwich is ginormous, but it is impossible to put it down. This place beats cuban restaurants on Miami beach hands down.

The best Cuban sandwich we ever had bread toasted to perfection, very flavorful, and presentation is 10/10, even our 2 year old son loved it and wanted more after every bite. We definitely recommend and will come back.

Their food is wonderful. Each sandwich is made to order. Service is outstanding. Restaurant and kitchen are spotless. Prices are fair for the quantity and quaility of their food. This is a small business everyone in the neighborhood should get behind and help them to succeed. In a world of corporate greed it is appreciated to be able to grab a great lunch at a fair price.

Sandrita’s: Latin Eatery is an absolute gem in Tampa! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the tantalizing aroma of authentic Latin cuisine. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly their Cuban sandwich. It’s hands down the best Cuban in Tampa! The bread is perfectly toasted, the pork is tender and flavorful, and the combination of Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard is just off the charts.

The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every guest feels right at home. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, Sandrita’s delivers an exceptional dining experience. Don’t miss out on their cafe con leche either—it’s the perfect complement to their delicious food. Highly recommend!

What can I say...we found a gem in Waters avenue. We suddenly felt connected to our Miami roots. First impression: courtesy greetings as they were busy at 10 am. One of the owners, Nelson, was very friendly and attentive greeted us with a smile and took our order. The place is small and has only two 4 sitter tables. The decor is very lovely; Lord of pictures from Cuba and Colombia. The owner, Sandrita, Is Colombian; hence they have arepas in their menu. The cafe con el leche was perfect for the start of my day. We enjoyed egg and ham breakfast sandwiches on a Cuban. They were not buttery as in other places, it was perfect. Paola really knows how to make them sandwiches! Their prices are very reasonable. Our son enjoyed his Cuban sandwich. They are really great!. They were just as I mentioned earlier, so you should call ahead (I must say the wait was worth of course) if u are super hungry.
Bottomline: go check Sandrita s Latin eatery to try great breakfast sandwiches, juices, arepas and..oh... Sandrita makes her own flan!! I'll definitely try that one next time! We have found our spot ladies and gents. Let me know what you think after you go there??
