First time we have gone to this Shells resturant and we were not disappointed. I had the fish and chips and they were the best I ever had. My wife had the Shrimp peel that was likewise very good. Happy Hour all day with $3.50 Margeretta, Rim Runners and draft beer.
4 star seafood restaurant. One of the best locations to dine in or order out in Tampa! Second to none. Yes, better than Red Lobster! Great staff and quaint atmosphere at this location.

We had our first family visit to Shells last weekend and the service and food was amazing. Our server Christy was probably the best server we’ve ever experienced and we go out to dinner often. She was so nice to us and knowledgeable about the menu.The food was delicious and fresh and I highly recommend this location.
The lobster pasta is back in season and is a great dish. I wish they would bring back the cajun/spicy crawfish pasta or at least the sauce. Additionally, their draft beer selection needs a serious upgrade my dad got wine to pair with his fried oysters.
Had a lovely meal with my 32 year old son who was visiting from Illinois. He commented that it was the best seafood ever!
Amazing food, amazing service!
Staff was very professional and made dining experience enjoyable. Our server Bre was great and stayed on top of making sure we always had drinks and anything else we needed. I recommend Carrollwood Shell's as a place to go for excellent service and food.
Good service. Everyone here is friendly. It always looks clean and well maintained.
I used to go to this Shells in the 80's, then it closed and opened up again in its same location. It doesn't attract the same crowds it did back then but we still enjoy it.

When you first walk into this place you think you are in a very casual almost sports bar but when the food comes to the table you know these folks are dead serious about the food they serve. Great seafood at affordable prices.
