Lovely venue with indoor and outdoor seating options. Live music that was fantastic. Appetizers delicious and the main courses were substantial. Tucked away from the main drag, plenty of parking, and just a relaxing atmosphere.

My girlfriend and I went last night. Food was good, atmosphere was great and service good. Place looked nice. My beer came out extremely flat but that was the only issue (at the time)
4-5 hours later we both arrive home to find out we got food poisoning. We both threw up for about 4 hours and couldn’t go to bed until like 4 AM.
We had our individual small bowls of pasta. The only dish we shared were the Arancini. So our guess was that it had to be that. Maybe it was a one time thing they made the mozzarella sticks bad, but still was a horrible time back at home. Restaurant has to be careful when preparing food. Hope they read this and make some changes/ inspections

Growing up in NJ with a Sicilian American Grandfather and a Mother that imparted a deep love of food and culture, I often seek out restaurants steeped in culture and older traditional values.
Bocelli’s Modern hit the mark in so many regards.
Was it the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to? No! I cooked in several and am hyper critical.
I’m not flying back to Manhattan or Philadelphia, any time soon. I’ll be back… hoping to see some of the sophisticated epicureans that chef, bartend, serve, and dine at this nearly exquisite establishment.
