I love this bar but today I went to this bar, ordered a drink for myself and my friend and sat at the bar. There was one bartender and it was very slow. Bartender asked if I wanted to leave the tab open or close it. I said give me one second so I can ask my friend and im not sure if she wants to keep it open. She rolled her eyes and walked away. We closed the tab after that and I said thank you when I was handed the check. She said “ yeah” and walked away and was laughing with another customer. She was very rude.
usually have a great time here. But today the bartender was extremely rude. would talk and smile to others but when it came to me and my friend she was very short, eye rolling, and when i said thank you before leaving all she said was “yeah” and walked away. i felt very discriminated against and i hope she
goes somewhere and receives the same service i was given.

Wanted to grab some drinks here with a couple of friends from college ( they’re all 21+ seniors in college if not already graduated from college) and when I gave my VALID Ga I.D to the bouncer he said he wasn’t taking it and started laughing. Even after trying to explain to him that he can scan it or even call the police to verify if, he continued to say it was fake and that he wasn’t letting us in. Then when I asked to have his name he refused to tell me and continued to sigh and be extremely rude. He’s a ginger with a beard and yellow teeth and definitely needs to be given a talk to. I am never one to leave reviews especially negatives ones, but when a night out with friends is ruined by a egotistical person you have to.

Horrible bar l saw roaches everywhere
Genuinely curious as to where the managers find these DJs? Felt like a middle school dance. It’s Gasparilla for Christ sake. You could go to UT and find a random kid who could do a better job. Only people that were somewhat dancing were people who were hammered. Also bouncers and security need to be taught some manners. Unnecessarily hostile and aggressive. Next time I’ll wait a little longer in line for MacDintons.

We asked for 5 casamigos shots but asked how much they were before they were poured. The outdoor bartender proceeded to pour them and then after tell us it’s $140 total, $26 per shot. We said that’s why we asked the price before she poured them and she said it was “too bad” and that they were already poured and that we had to pay for them or else be would be arrested. Coming from the service industry, this is a straight scam. Bar tenders should be up front with prices beforehand when asked and not use scare tactics for customers to pay. The bar tenders purposely didn’t tell us the price until after they were poured (although we asked before) then forced us to pay $140 for them. These people clearly have no integrity. Sick.

Check the cameras the “bouncer” was literally the most aggressive man I’ve met in my life. Very aggressive for no reason the other bouncers told him to chill out. Check the cameras at 2 pm ish you will see him being aggressive with my friend and me trying to get him off of her as she’s crying walking out of the bar. Worst gasparilla experience I’ve ever had terrible terrible terrible. Truly traumatic experience . Ruined Gasparilla this year I will contact management tomorrow. Waste of $80

This college age bar. It only gets 4 stars because if you are not looking for a serious 18 to 20 something bar this might not be the best place to go Thurs. Through Saturday night. If that's what you're looking for there are other similar bars within walking distance. On the weekends they close off a lot of the roads along Howard, so if Ubering you may have to just walk to one of the police barricades on the corner on one of the cross streets. This goes for all the bars/clubs on SoHo (south Howard).

Was there this past Sunday and went to use the restroom . I noticed some body sprays and other things available. Every bar I’ve been to, you can use it and tip a few dollars . I took a few sprays of the body spray and used the spray deodorant, expecting to tip with the cash I had . The bathroom attendant Sarah proceeded to come up to me , listing prices for everything I used , totaling $8, and would not let me leave the rest room till I venmoed her. My friend venmoed her but she claimed it didn’t go through when it did, so I sent the money myself . The bathroom had signs that tips are appreciated , but nothing about itemized pricing for using a few sprays of something . It was cheap body spray , and the money sent her could have bought a whole new bottle or two . Very disappointed by this scam she’s running . The ladies room is suppose the be a sanctioned area , and over charging for something where the price isn’t listed ain’t it .
I barely ever give reviews but I will for this place. I was in town celebrating my birthday. The bar me and my friends originally were headed to, well, we thought this might be a nice stop on they way. We're inside playing games, everyone is enjoying themselves(no one is drunk or acting out of character). We're all having a good time. I go to ask the bartender for a Heineken. I received the beer and tipped the bartender. About 10-15 minutes later, security taps me on my shoulder and motions for me to follow them. I go outside, they take my beer and throw it into the trash and I'm instantly kicked out. I had ZERO explanation why. I even stood with the officer outside and he asked, "what happened?" And I responded with "Sir, I honestly don't know." I called my friends who were still inside and we all left the bar together in an Uber. I began to question to the people who work there why I was kicked out but in the end, it was better to just walk away. I work in the industry. Been doing so for almost 15 years and in no way is this how you treat people. Let alone, an individual who was just trying to enjoy their birthday. If you're going to kick someone out, provide a valid reason why and at least give that person an opportunity to explain themselves. If you still feel that individual should leave, by all means I'll walk out myself but not before you give me an explanation. Soho saloon, I wish you the best for future endeavors, but that is the first and last time you will ever receive money from my pocket into your business.
