Tampa Bay Food Tours visits Riverwalk Cafe several times a week. The location is my favorite on the Riverwalk. They have just introduced a new menu which features fresh delicious food and a nice wine and beer menu.

The barista and cook shamed my 9 year old for getting another packet of sugar for his tea. Apparently, "he doesn't have any taste." I'm not sure when it became acceptable to do that to anyone, especially a kid. For the record, the tea was just okay.

Two glasses of discount wine cost $9 and took several minutes to get. All the food is overpriced and absolutely thawed from the back of a Sysco truck immediately before serving. Service was slow (for, literally, 2 glasses of wine). Great view but you can walk in almost any direction for 5 minutes and get exponentially better food for the same price, and then bring it to the park FOR FREE and get that same view.

Going to the art museum was a great expexperience. Unfortunately getting food here was a bummer. I literally stood in line with a soft drink in hand ready to order for about 7 min without anyone asking if I were ready to order. There was no one in front of me and I'm sure the two girls working saw me. They were happy to chat with each other though. So I would say save your money and go somewhere else. The lack of customer service from the two girls working this morning 9/20/19 wad ridiridiculous and needs to be addressed by management.

Really incredible staff, menu, pricing and location! I stopped for a quick bite before an event and decided on banana nut bread, which they gladly offered to warm for me. I came right back after the event and got an INCREDIBLE salad with a lime soy dressing that is a new fav. I can't wait to return and just enjoy the view of beautiful UT and the river. Great people-watching spot for sure lol
