My worst experience ever, a nightmare… the server was not a good at all,
The worst in service, the waitress did not explain anything and then argued with me because of her mistake, I left and did not eat the food. My worst experience ever

What a great experience! My wife and I stopped in last Sunday. We started with the best Mojitos we have had! We then ordered the Ricotta and olive spread as our appetizer, and for our entrees, we had the Lechon Asado. Both were wonderful!! Also, our server was great and answered all of our questions and was very gracious. We'll be back soon!!

Absolutely out of this world!

When I get it the five stars I really mean five stars across the board.

When I walked in I was greeted by an amazing staff, that was super friendly and helpful the owner Jesus was there and asked me to sit at the bar where he was at.

I love Cuban food I've been eating it my whole life. I ordered just a classic staple. Add Cuban sandwich and I then later ordered a mojito.

Both were perfectly done could not have had a better combo.

I will be coming back for dinner during my stay here. And have already been telling friends and family to check this place out.

I can't wait to try something next on the menu. Going to take pictures and put them up.

Don't sleep on this new place in Tampa.

This was my 1st time there, I walked in and 10 minutes later I walked out,
No one greeted me for about 4 minutes, then the person was very attitudish. I asked for coffee because, it is a Cuban cafe and her response was "I don't think so but, I can see if they will make some", grabbing a push top thermas. Wow, not even a Cuban coffee expresso machine?
They do have a nice bathroom though but, no Cuban coffee.
DO NOT GO THERE FOR UN CAFECITO, they may give you instant coffee!

Parking: Very sketchy parking lot

I got the Olive Tapenade, the Cuban sandwich, and the Dark and Stormy cocktail. Each item was $10 and wet each delicious and a healthy portion. I ended up taking some home.
The music was 70, 80's, 90's soul. The art on the walls was of the black Tampa legacies, refreshing and plentiful.

The only critique I might have is their description of the deviled crab, which is the reason I didn't get it. There is only 1 place that appears to have mastered the deviled crab in the last 50 years, and those people retired a decade or so ago, and everyone that comes to try to replicate it seems to get stuck at what to do with the coating and how to cook it. That restaurant set the standard that all of us fans continue to chase. I've tried so many where the breaded casing is so thick, they only have a tablespoon of crab mix in it, and there are so many that don't cook the crust and instead serve it rolled in and covered in bread crumbs.
Neither of these are the best way. The best way is to achieve a crispy, thin but sturdy outer crust with a crumble on the outside with a 1/2 cup of crab mix inside. The mix must be flavorful, and it's paprika and garlic and onion, etc.
Other than this critique, I hope to bring my family visiting from out of town here soon, and I promise to return with friends.
Maybe we'll try the deviled crab.

Probably the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had. Also do yourself a favor and pick up a bottle of their homemade hotsauce. It's not hot at all but the flavor is delicious on just about anything.
