We were in town visiting and were craving some Cuban flavor. This was it! We were able to chat with the owner who was so knowledgeable in Tampa history and accommodating. He even bottles his own sauces and they are so good. Highly recommend the Classic Cuban as well as all the empanadas- including his delicious guava and cheese empanada! 😱🥰. The best!
Absolutely amazing concept and mission. The food is really great with so many Caribbean flavors exploding. A real Tampa staple and something everyone needs to experience while in town.
We ordered the Cuban bread with mojo habanero butter, their signature crab dish, picadillo and croquettes de la casa. Every single thing was an absolute home run. I could not recommend this place anymore. Tampa’s Cuban food is head and shoulders better than Miami’s.
