I’m an Italian living in Tampa, and I discovered this place while searching for one of my favorite dishes on Google. I would have never imagined finding such a hidden gem just a few miles from where I live. This is, without a doubt, the best Italian food I’ve had in the US. The quality is extremely high, and everything on the menu is amazing. The owner is truly wonderful, he takes the time to explain how each dish is prepared, and everything is clearly homemade and incredibly delicious. The server is also amazing and makes the experience even better. If you’re looking for a genuine high-quality Italian experience, this is the place to go!

A truly amazing culinary delight! We were greeted immediately with a friendly, welcoming smile. We had a party of 6 and the staff was wonderful. The menu had just the right amount of items to make ordering fun and easy. The wine and food is out of this world! This is authentic, delicious Italian food prepared from family recipes. Do yourself a favor and head on over to Davis island and visit Spartaco’s kitchen….its an awesome experience!

The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere made us feel like we were right in Italy. Legit Italian, as in pasta actually from Italy. Everyone's dish was a 10 and service was the same. Menu unique and not the basic faire. Overall great experience and 100% recommend.

I gave it a second try & honestly was shocked at how flavorless the food was.. penne undercooked in a bowl of milk w/peas & ham. No garlic/salt or flavor…😖☹️

We went here after dismal experience eating at the Irish pub across the street where we had basically lunch meat on Hawaiian rolls dubbed Reuben Sliders. Spartaco in contrast was a delight from the wine selections, entree and delightful desert with wine pairing. Recipes are from the owner’s family but executed perfectly for restaurant presentation and server/owner’s descriptions did them justice and enhanced our enjoyment. HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Most likely best Italian fare in Tampa and highly probable it will be the best dinner you might enjoy on Davis Island.
