We sat at the bar and had the loveliest conversation with the bartender, Scarlett. They were personable, engaging, and SO sweet. I didn't know much about kava or kratom... Scarlett was very knowledgeable and taught me about their effects as well as the difference between the two.
Any time I'm back in Ybor, I will absolutely make sure to stop back into SpookEasy Lounge. I wish I lived in town so I could become besties with Scarlett!

Horror themed bar with many many events, including flea markets, and horror related masquerade balls, and things of that nature. Many different statues and definitely has a good vibe good people. Nice place to go and relax or participate in one of their events.

If you want a great experience with knowledgeable staff, come here! My husband, his brother, and I were greeted by a very happy and friendly bartender. I had many questions, and she was more than happy to explain kava to us. She recommended a drink to me as this was my first time experience with kava, and it was amazing. My backstory: I am neither a smoker, a drinker, nor do I take pills other than my prescription meds. I'm a carpenter in MS, and I'm in constant pain. I can't take any pain meds besides Tylenol, and I can't even take that during the day because I would be useless. In short, I'm a medicinal lightweight. Haha

Went to Spookeasy to see Lawrence Francis the Mind Magician. It was a wonderful show that will keep you awestruck. The show mostly utilizes audience participation, and even those who participated were left wondering how he performed the tricks. I know for the people that was with me, they did not know Lawrence so for him to “read”!their minds about things in their life he should not have known blew them away. The Spookeasy Lounge provided the perfect backdrop for the show with its gothic vibe. We did not eat anything; however, those who did seemed to enjoy their meals. I gave it four stars because the seating, while keeping with the theme, was not very comfortable. If you want a fun night out, where you can go to be entertained, this is the place.

The spooky decor was great. Moving animations in the windows, some table tops, etc. Coffee table coffin with glass top and body inside. Drinks were stout. Service downstairs great. Upstairs almost non existent. Doorman great & enthusiastic. Mostly younger crowd. Some costumes. Alot of Goth style. DJ mostly stuck to foreign alternative music with a basic video screen accompanying it. Different & cool experience. Top floor, Kava area, seemed more laid back. A sit & socialize vibe with no alcohol allowed.

Absolutely adore this place in every way possible. The food is absolutely amazing qmd the fries are to DIE for. The best ive had in Tampa. I have to to say the Rooster Sauce is Horrorfyingly Delightful. SpookEasy fits my nature perfectly and I can relax in this place for hours. Just sit back with a great cup of coffee and just enjoy the company of all the creatures of the night..
