My husband bought two gift cards here and was charged a $10 tip on both. He was in a hurry so he didn’t notice until he left. He definitely wouldn’t have authorized that. He called to report this to a manager and “they couldn’t find one”. Shady.

I’ve visited this Starbucks several times since I work nearby, and I’ve consistently had strange experiences. The atmosphere feels off. The employees always seem unhappy or irritated, like they hate being there. Interactions with the cashiers and baristas are curt and rushed, and the overall vibe is uncomfortable. The coffee itself is just average, and the service is often careless. On multiple occasions, they haven’t called my name when my order was ready. Once, I ordered a chai tea latte that took nearly ten minutes to make even though the store wasn’t busy. When it was finally done, the barista set it down abruptly without saying my name or making eye contact. She just looked annoyed, and the whole experience felt dismissive and unwelcoming.

I know it might sound silly, but I usually look forward to coming here with my coworkers. Getting out of the office for a coffee break is something that normally leaves me feeling recharged. But coming here… it just has the opposite effect, I end up feeling drained.

Staff is very friendly and quick, but coffee constantly disappoints and orders are getting messed up all the time, even when it’s not busy.
Sometimes lids are not properly on cups. More than once spilled coffee on work clothes because lid just slid off.

I wanted a Matcha green tea Matcha and I got a spinach feta wrap when I went to the front it was one for 545 the drink he said which one you're supposed to ask cold or hot I said the one for 545 I guess it's a medium then I got call from my name my drink wasn't ready and then I had a hot drink in Tampa it's so hot right now she offered to make it again but why waste if you asked me if I wanted it cold or hot the first time instead of saying which one which was so ignorant then I would've got the right drink the first time do better and I'm a Hilton honors member and this is the first time I've ever had somebody ask Which one instead of cold or hot that's so unprofessional and makes no sense it was only one on the menu but it didn't specify cold or hot I should've specified since they can't do their job do better I've been to Starbucks in Cali Delaware Vegas and now here and this right here is so disappointing I didn't drink my drink

Closest coffee shop open at 6 AM and kind baristas.
Remember, never hurts to tip them. They wake up early and ensure a lot to do this job.
Downtown Tampa doesn’t seem to have a lot of options at 6 AM, glad these guys are here!
