Corporate recently said that Starbucks would be reimplementing a “Back to Starbucks” redesign of stores that would improve ambiance and seating, after a move to sterility over the past few years had brought about a lot of (justified) criticism.
Bay to Bay’s recent redesign must have missed the memo.

They ruined the community gathering space of this store with the recent redesign. Corporate does not understand the community and the fact that seating inside is pretty much a necessity when florida heat hits, and the outdoor seating is next to a busy road.

This Starbucks is genuinely awful always gets orders wrong forgets something or just has your drink sitting completed on the back counter and they simply won’t give it to you until they feel and god forbid you ask for it they’ll treat you like scum

Some days this Starbucks earns 5 stars, but some days only 3 stars. On the good days, the staff is vey nice, service is prompt and everything tastes as it should. On the bad days, the service is oddly slow and the coffee is not hot. Today was a bad day. I order a cup of dark roast on the app. 15-20 minutes after my order, it was still not ready even though the app said it was. After seeing me waiting for a while, someone did ask what I was waiting for and they quickly poured me a cup. I took my first sip after getting back in my car and the coffee was like warm and bitter. It was too late for me to turn around.
