Walked in for dine in around 7pm, most of the tables had their chairs stacked on them. The tables that were available had not been bussed. Order came out incorrect, staff acted like everyone was a nuisance to them. Trash around the store, even though it wasn’t busy and most staff was hanging on their phones.

Stay far away from this location! Every time we have come here we have received terrible service. The food was cold, the fries were stale and the box of onion rings was half empty. The people working here clearly do not care about their jobs and this place is desperate for new management! You have been warned, Don’t waste your money

We walked in, and placed our order on the touch screen. No one said hi or welcome to steak and shake. I went to the men’s room to wash my hands, both soap dispensers were empty, and the roll of paper towels was sitting on the sink. No privacy either, since the bathroom door didn’t close. The floor in the restaurant looked greasy, most of the tables looked clean. The fries were very salty, the burger was ok. I went to the counter to get ketchup, the dispenser was empty. There were packets of ketchup in the bin, but the packets had ketchup on them. I waited for someone at the counter to help me, but after 2 minutes I gave up. One of the worst experiences I’ve had, won’t be going back.

3/11/24 placed 2 meal orders for garlic burgers but they were completely dry. No flavoring what so ever. I called and the manager Yaslyn was very helpful and said to come any day to get my meals remade for free since we live far, all I had to do was give her name. Sent my bf up there to redeem with our small child and the manager on duty was completely rude. Said no, essentially that it never happened and we were trying to get free food. She didnt ask for a receipt or anything. I called to speak with them about it and she was rude and said my bf needed to conduct himself better. She stated that she could call Yaslyn to inquire but wouldnt and hung up on me. As a GM of a food place myself, this was completely unacceptable service. Appalled at how we were treated. She needs to be retrained or find a different job. Receipt attached since she wanted to call us liars.

Returned today for the first time since new management took over and was blown away by how many great improvements they made. Not just to the food and service, but presentation and packaging of the food as well. By far some of the best fast food around.

Stopped into this old favorite chain of mine from years ago and was glad I did. Used the drive-thru which was very quick. The woman was so friendly and wished me a good day. The burger was hot and fresh, so I sat in my car and under a tree overlooking the very scenic Dale Mabry Highway lol and enjoyed every bite of this huge burger. I highly recommend this S&S location.
