Can't beat a Steak n Shake double all the way. Clean, friendly staff, and fast service for cooked to order meal. Don't forget the real milkshakes. And on Monday thru Friday from 2 to 4 pm they are half priced.

It was such a nice experience and the service was quick and great. I also don't know the gentlemen's name cleaning tables and serving food after the kiosk on the evening of 1/4 but he made it seem like we were still at a restaurant and was really sweet and made our kids very happy with the hats he gave. I don't really believe in the kiosks because even though they're faster I appreciate interacting with nice people.
Kid-friendliness: Really kind and fun with the things they give out little cars.
Anazing location staff is helpful and friendly, food tastes great and looks good. And store is always clean and looking pretty. Overall a great location to eat

They took away the servers, now you order at a kiosk. Everything is self-serve now... I'm surprised they don't ask the customer to cook their own food too. I'm sure it's a cost-saving measure, but it affects the whole experience. I knew I was going to be ordering at a kiosk I would have went to McDonald's. The kiosks took away what little ambience that place like steak and shake has. It no longer feels like a diner, and instead of being greeted with a smile you're greeted with a screen. Being acknowledged when you walk into a restaurant is important. It's like they don't give a crap if you're there or not.
Also I haven't been in quite some time I didn't realize how crazy the menu prices are now. Raising the prices and taking away service is not a good business model for repeat customers. The food is pretty decent but not worth the price and the cold shoulder. I miss when companies cared about the guest experience instead of just making the most money as possible.
Bring back the servers!!!

Order a large coke for delivery . There is almost full of ice . I don’t want to pay 4 dollars for a cup of ice .
