Steep Station Kava Bar

Steep Station has seriously leveled up under the new management. The vibe is cleaner, more focused, and you can tell there’s real pride behind the scenes now. The whole place runs smoother, and the energy feels more intentional—like they actually care about the space and the people walking through the door.

The manager is clearly locked in. You can see the passion behind the way things are run, and the results speak for themselves. Shoutout to Cheyenne for setting a new standard without making it about her—it’s about the experience now.

I love this place! Such a warm and welcoming vibe! The service is excellent! The drinks are always delicious, and the manager Cheyann is amazing, and so sweet. I definitely recommend coming in and checking it out! Bula!

I don’t know what changed around here. I don’t even see the regular guy that Works here.
This must be under new management because the high school girl that supposedly the manager is rude and doesn’t seem to have a clue of what she’s doing that’s it they lost my business. Well, it was good while it lasted.

This place has cycled through one poor manager after another and what do they do when they finally have a good one that is passionate about the business and the customers? They fire him and his replace him with someone who can’t open the store on time. They’ve cycled through so many employees in the past few years because of a terrible owner who has no idea how to run a business and doesn’t care about his employees. He doesn’t know how to hire competent people or pay them either.

so excited to have Cheyenne as the new manager. I have been coming here for about a year now ever since I moved to the area. I work remotely, so it’s a great place to chill and work during the day. The drinks are good quality and pretty strong, and their deals every day are the best in town, hands down! Highly recommend over the surrounding kava spots in the area.

Best kratom in town. Great environment. Coming here for years. Will continue to do so!

Didn't really seem pleased to get my business. Basic coffee and tons of cheap syrups. More of a tea and maybe beer since I saw growler options.

⭐ 1 Star – Terrible Management! ⭐

Steep Station could be a great spot, but the manager, Joshua, is running it straight into the ground. His attitude is beyond unprofessional—rude, childish, and completely unfit to manage a business. Instead of creating a welcoming atmosphere, he treats customers like they’re an inconvenience.

I hope the owner, Chris, realizes that with leadership like this, it’s only a matter of time before this place goes under. A bar is only as good as the people running it, and right now, Steep Station is sinking fast. Do better.

Wouldn’t recommend unless you enjoy terrible service and bad vibes.

Stopped for a tea, but nobody spoke to me. There was a girl behind the bar ,but she looked at me, didn't approach or say anything to me and she wasn't busy because she was just standing there, so I left ,,, and wont be back. Worst customer service, or is that a thing in these bars?

I hosted a Sober Girls Meetup here the other day and it went so well! The bar atmosphere created a cool vibe and we munched on yummy pizzas and beautiful Acai bowls! Food was great & drinks are always great here. Would highly recommend for your next meeting space :)

Kid-friendliness: This is a non-acloholic bar so mammas can come and enjoy & hangout while their kiddos play board games together :)

I have had a wonderful experience at Steep Station. The people are friendly and the drinks are smooth and strong. Caesar and Jared both have a vast knowledge of the products. The tea is fresh and the vibe is welcoming. I would highly recommend the Tampa location.
