Clean, quaint and very friendly, an absolute yeah if you're in the area for sushi.

One of my favorite Japanese (Sushi) restaurants in Tampa, actually near USF. I have been twice now and pretty much everything I've ordered has been stellar. I see other reviews saying about the waitress, but she is not there and the service is really good. I love their special roll, PLAYBOY [ON FIRE]. It's crazy!!

I came here on a Friday evening around 7:30. There were about 5 tables full of people which is considerably busy for the size of this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice. I ordered the: Summer roll, Kentucky roll and the Yam yam. I also ordered the gyoza and baby octopus salad. Absolutely no complaints about the sushi and gyoza as they were delicious. The touch of mango on the summer roll is genius and this is easily probably my new favorite roll. I’ve had octopus a few times and this time it seemed very fishy so that did turn me off.I believe the server that I had was new and it honestly showed. They walked by me several times before I finally got my water. The food came out pretty fast but she also walked right past me with my gyoza. They seemed very unfamiliar with the items and really seemed like they were making no effort to understand the menu because I heard them say to the other table: “after a while they all start looking the same” after she couldn’t remember the names of the sushi rolls they ordered. The service was mediocre but food was great.Update to original review:The service has got much better. I’ve visited about 3 times since and have enjoyed the ramen and soho udon. They make a nice sweet potato roll to which is one of my all time favorites.

Went for Happy Hour (5-7pm) where there is a specific list of choices for $5, $6, & $7. They also have choices not on their menu (a basic salad with a ginger dressing). I wanted just something like a miso soup and should have asked if they had it. Good vale during Happy Hour and the sushi was tasty

Just ok. Nothing great about it or bad about it. I had a Mexican roll and a fire bomb roll and neither tasted great. I'm comparing it to a restaurant in Wesley Chapel called UMU as well as Makedio Sushi in Orlando, both of which I had over the last week and both of those places were EXCELLENT!

The old white lady was very rude she brang me one sugar for my tea no straw for my water when I asked her for them she just walked away But she was friendly to the men. Go figure. I won't be returning the food wasn't bad but it wasn't good. And she was a royal b*****

I think this is the best sushi restaurant in Tampa. Especially, sashimi is the most memorable. The salmon roll is also fantastic.
