We made reservations for a Saturday early. It was our first time there. The reso was not needed but we were greeted by a nice server that accommodated us and let us sit at the sushi bar.

We ordered hot sake and some rolls, all which came out nicely and prompt. The sushi chef was also charming and engaged in some small talk.

The reason for my 3 stars is that the online menu stated that there is / was a happy hour. We went early, thinking we could take advantage of the offer and then spend some time in Ybor. Unfortunately, when we got our bill and asked our server - she said that the happy hour stopped that week. If the offer was no longer available the please remove it from your website.

We also learned that we were the 3rd table that afternoon to ask for it.

We were so excited to see such a kitschy, cute little sushi house in this neighborhood. We arrived at 8pm. The hostess was on the phone, but there were 3 waitresses that noticed us walk in and did not acknowledge us. After waiting a bit one of them came up and offered us a table. We put in our drink order with a friendly waitress, got our drinks, ordered food, then watched every other table get their food, leave, tables bussed, and the signs turned off, without anyone glancing one look at us( in the front room). We waited over an hour before being able to get our servers attention, to have her ask the chef what the hold up was. He responded that he had a few more to go orders to send out and it would be another 15-20 minutes before he could get to our order. Our waitress just walked away, not saying anything. Another server offered us free drinks, we declined as we wanted food first. 10 minutes later we walked out after seeing more food going to tables that walked in 20-30 minutes after us. The girl with blue hair needs a different job.

I’ve been coming here for about 8 years now, it was so cute and delicious. But the quality has significantly decreased now, and I just can’t justify going back anymore. I’m not sure if management has changed, but the whole atmosphere is different now. The last three times I’ve been in the past few months have been so disappointing. And I’m so sad because this used to be my favorite place. The sushi doesn’t taste how it used and takes ridiculously long to actually reach the table. They’re now frequently out of stock of many items. Can’t recommend anymore.

Normally not bad sushi but the last few times it has not seemed so fresh. One tiny wasabi and ginger side for 4 rolls and 2 sides when they specifically confirmed that we had some with each roll. Not to mention they are usually late for call in orders, and not great table service.

Plus, the other sushi spot in ybor has fresher fish.

My family of three ate sushi just recently from here and we've all been hugging the toilet for two days.

I ordered the Mango Maguro and Sweet and Spicy. The sushi was very good. Great service as well. I also liked the look and feel of the restaurant; very homey! Spring rolls were very good too.

Wonderful experience! We went on a Tuesday, got there at 6:30 and left by 7! The staff was wonderful and the food was delicious. Loved how this was literally in a home. Can't recommend this place enough and we will be going back.

We were really excited to eat here and the service was flat out awful. Waited 20 minutes for a drink and when it was all said and done gave us the wrong clients bill. Not sure how that’s even possible.

This place is incredible! I haven’t been so pleased with a restaurant in a really long time. Every single dish was absolutely delicious and uniquely well made. I’ve been to plenty of sushi places and this has to be my new favorite by far! We had 3 appetizers, 4 entrees, a beer, a tea, and a sparkling water and it all came out to $102 so it’s very affordable too! My 2-year-old tried the appetizers and actually loved them. Even her chicken nuggets and fries were absolutely delicious, which you wouldn’t expect from a sushi place!! I’ve never had a better miso soup and will definitely be back for the spring rolls!! Our sever (I believe her name was Victoria) was incredibly kind and very attentive. The place is cute and clean and I can’t wait to go back!!

Kid-friendliness: Clean atmosphere, staff is nice, chicken nuggets and fries are somehow absolutely delicious!

Didn’t even get to try the food. It was completely empty and the host was so unwelcoming we left before even being seated.
