They changed the name but the only thing different is they slapped Bakery 1908 stickers on everything. Nothing new except the pungent smell of sewage when you walk into the bakery. Health violation?!?!

Food is old and stale. I ordered the mousse and it was gelatinous and unpleasant, I only had one bite. The staff is rude and extremely unfriendly. This is my first review ever it’s just so bad that I need to provide feedback. I visit the 1908 bakery often in Orlando. I was so excited when I saw there was a Tampa location that opened up. I was very disappointed this was not even close to the same. They also didn’t even let me scan for my rewards which was odd but they just seemed inpatient.

I recently visited this bakery, and it instantly became one of my new favorite spots. The first thing I noticed was how super clean everything was—the counters, tables, and display cases were spotless, which made the whole place feel really welcoming. The staff were incredibly nice and friendly, making the whole experience feel warm and personal.
The atmosphere is calm, cozy, and relaxing—perfect for hanging out, studying, or just enjoying a quiet moment. The food was honestly so good; everything tasted fresh and made with care. The drinks were just as amazing, with great flavors and the perfect balance. You can tell they put effort into both their menu and presentation.
Overall, everything about this bakery was just good, calming, and genuinely pleasant. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and delicious spot to grab a treat or drink. I can’t wait to go back!

Our new favorite bakery! So many unique flavors and a variety of pastries to try. They also have great cake. We go about three times a week.

Best bakery in the area but I could not call in for birthday cake ordering? No online ordering on BDCake either?

It’s an okay and maybe a one time visit place. If your staple diet is bread and combinations of it with sweet and tarty relishes - this is the place to visit. It has a very K pop feel to the atmosphere and serving styles - so young kids will definitely like it. Taste wise - didn’t find it extraordinary than regular stuff.
Truthfully- the bread and sweetness of them - just became too overwhelming and hid the underlying favors I had expected more.

Save your money. Everything had a cheap and old taste. Customer service was horrible. No one willing to help, everyone sitting around in their phones while the tables were all disgusting. We asked to exchange a packaged cookie for something else because it was inedible and we were told no. Save your time and money.

Bbq pork and the ham/chicken wasn't good. The desserts are ok.

Closest thing to bread talk I've seen in America. They even have some bread types similar to bread talk offers. My favorite is the floss bread. Looking forward to trying the blueberry cream cheese. Will be a regular customer ❤️

I recently tried the tiramisu cake at Sweet Buns and was pretty disappointed. The cake itself was dry and lacked the soft, moist texture you’d expect from tiramisu. The cream was even more of a letdown—it had a jelly-like consistency rather than being smooth and creamy. Overall, it didn’t capture the rich, velvety flavor or texture that makes tiramisu special. Definitely not worth it for me.

Sweet Buns is a gem in Tampa. The bakery is bright, welcoming, and filled with beautiful options in both the sweet and savory sections.

I tried the chicken and ham sweet bun and it was delicious. Savory, cheesy, and full of flavor in every bite. I also had the blueberry cinnamon roll and it was delectable. Soft and light, just the right amount of sweetness, and packed with flavor. I paired everything with a black coffee that was smooth and bold, the perfect balance for the pastries.

The self-serve setup makes it fun to explore and the selection is impressive with everything from stuffed buns to pastries and desserts. If you are in the area and craving fresh baked goods with great coffee, Sweet Buns is worth a visit.

Very yummy pastries and very good prices! I really like their blueberry cinnamon roll a lot. I would recommend going in the morning like any other bakery, as there are a lot more options and things are very fresh. They have some tables to eat at but it’s mostly a take out service. Very cute inside.

Everytime I come here the stuff is very rude and not helpful, I never decided to leave a review because I'm not like that but I just couldn't take it anymore, I also got 2 cheesecakes and they were very bad and expired, I got other stuff and they were ok. I don't think I'm giving this place another chance.
