Maybe I’ll update my review based on if I ever will try the food.. went there on Tuesday bc they post basically everyday delicious looking sushi and went around 2:30pm and the doors were locked, no sign saying anything about closing.. and the hours are posed “Open 7 days a week…so we’ve commented on their posts, and called numerous times & different times of the day to check if they would pick up. I don’t live close so I’d like to call before I drive all that way for a closed restaurant that post everyday … disappointing, stop posting if your gonna be closed

At first I was skeptical of this place as it appeared closed when I walked in. Totally empty. Employee was in the restroom.. I waited for takeout… the sushi turned out to be absolutely delicious (ordered the spicy tuna roll and crab mix roll). She prepared everything very well. The fish tasted fresh. Shout out to the girl holding it down all by herself.

We ordered one seaweed salad and split it. We each got Handroll combo #1. Oh. My. Sushi Gods. It was fresh, tasty and I left feeling pleasantly full. They have outside seating and inside. Very chill style place. Order at counter and they will bring to table or you can take Togo. They door dash too. Highly recommend. We walked from the Floridan Palace to the Tampa Art Museum and then turned back and hit up this place. Delicious. Will return.

NO WAY!I was only customer in and of store and ordered 2 rolls. Neither even sliced as you can see in the "tuna roll."Tempura shrimp was ordered no guac, which disgusts me. I spent more time scraping it off and attempting to slice sushi roll than actually eating it.Also beware when u order, prices are different when u pay. Smh, was really hoping for a new sushi spot in walking distance but NO, not here.

I really want to like SweetFish more than I do. The decor is great and I love walking in, ordering on a tablet, and getting my food. There are a few problems though:Nobody says anything when you walk in. I like ordering on a tablet, but there should really be someone saying "Hi, you can order on the tablet. Please let us know if you have any questions." On our first trip during dinner time, a woman did come over after a couple minutes. The prices are...rough. Even compared to other places downtown. 16 dollars is acceptable for a bento box and all the stuff that comes in it. But 16 dollars for a rice burrito with only 2 shrimp in it? That's outrageous.Overall the tastes were great. I would recommend training staff to greet and seriously looking at the burrito prices. Either bring them down a couple bucks or put more meat in the burritos.

The best sushi Burrito I’ve ever had. Also, a very large portion for your money! The picture just shows half! The location is convenient with a parking lot directly across the restaurant. Super cute on the outside & inside. Very vibey and trendy! The staff is super friendly & helpful as well!

SweetFish has awesome favors, presentation and phenomenal staff! Our 9 year requests this restaurant constantly!!! Chef showed his appreciation to our little guy with a complimentary poke bowl on St. Pattys Day! Our favorites are the Shrimp Tempura hand roll, Seared Salmon hand roll, Dragon roll and Catapillar roll. The patio is pretty and dog friendly, perfect for our family!!

Thoroughly enjoyed this place. Chef Omar was extremely helpful and kind, the place is spotless and my meal was freshly made and well crafted. I ordered the hamachi bowl and loved the balance of flavors. Hamachi is a white fish and the generous portion in the poke bowl was sliced perfectly and played well with wakame seaweed, pickled cucumbers, pineapple bits, and nori topping on a copious bed of sushi rice. The dish was enhanced even more by the yummy spicy sauce (on the side, thank you!). Next time I will ask for mango instead of pineapple (my preference), but overall this meal was so good, I’m still thinking about it four hours later. Nothin’ hokey about this poke! ?

Hidden gem for poke. Generous portions. Fresh sushi grade quality fish. The restaurant also includes smoothies, acai bowls, and others. The owner's other restaurants are Haiku and Eden, both in downtown Tampa. Thanks for always showing love with the poke!
