This place has done nothing but go downhill overtime. I used to eat at the locations in New York City for many years. Since this shop opened in Tampa, they continue to take away from the customers, lower their quality, decrease options available, charge more for things, and increase their own profits. They used to have a loyalty program, that was canceled. Then they decided to stop allowing people to buy protein à la carte.(which is vital to people who are on ketogenic or carnivore diet.) they continue to use seed oils in their dressings, another they try to charge me extra money today to have dark meat chicken over the white meat chicken. This company’s greed continues to astound me. I think I’m finally done having a dysfunctional relationship with this restaurant. Best of luck if you choose to go here and eat. I would recommend fresh kitchen or Naked Farmer as better alternatives.

I'm writing a review about this company..I was hired to work at the Shelby township location .I'm much older then all of the employees I feel because of my age I had a target on my back .please don't support this company by buying their food. They don't support people over the age of 50 to work for them .and they hire employees that are all best friends that is a disvantage for new employees coming in the company to work .I had told the manager at the Shelby township store I didn't really think mean girls and men didn't exist anymore but they are mean girls

Not typically a reviewer but I want to note this so that the Hyde park location can improve upon their services. Note that the ingredients seem to be top notch and i love the variety of options, these keep me coming back. I have had this issue about 5 times and every time the company credits me for my next meal to be free but im sick of dealing with the repeated issue. I typically order Togo, and for 5 times now, my salad came with no dressing on it. Who enjoys dry salad? You’re a salad and bowl establishment, please remember to dress them. I asked for heavy dressing this time to err on the side of caution, still got none. Thanks.

If I could give this location zero stars I would the guys working here is very rude one name Addison work 12/4/25 at 2pm. Extremely rude they run out of items and have no sense of urgency to restock or do anything I will never be back. But I felt everyone needs to know about this location the employees are running it in the ground!

the bowls are good like really good but the workers put the most minimal effort into making them they are always thrown together very sloppy or missing ingredients. sometimes i’ll order a rice bowl with spinach and a ton of toppings and meat and it’s 90 percent spinach

I have actually never eaten at Sweetgreen before because it's so healthy, I just assumed it couldn't be that good. But today I wanted a smaller meal so I came in and got a small harvest bowl. It was actually really good! I ate the whole thing. The people behind the counter were really nice, too, and the place was pleasant and clean.
