Came here on a work trip, and while it's nice that a lot of places are walking distance, I can't get get over how you can hear every single noise through the door to the room. There is zero insulation, and we were stuffing towels under the door to try to drown out the noisy guests who walked back and forth, back and forth, every night up until 2 am. And mimosas should not cost 15/piece. That is insane price gouging.Bartenders were friendly, front desk was okay, room was clean. Not getting any sleep for three nights? Won't stay again.

Stayed for a week while my wife was attending a conference. The hotel is clean, spacious and the pool area is great. The real highlight of this hotel for me was Carl Fuller in the concierge room. He had helpful suggestions about activities all week. Helped me find good places to eat and fun places to explore. We will be back for the conference next year, looking forward to the golf course reccomendations Carl gave me.

I stay at a Marriott very frequently for work travel. I had the single worst experience at this location with the bartender. If Luis is your bartender, run, don’t walk. He is unprofessional, rude, and obnoxious. This experience is not the normal I have had with Marriott, and he is a true detriment to the brand and image. I am a bit blown away as to how someone like this is still employed at a business that is generally known for holding standards higher than other chains.

Everything you would expect from a Marriott property. Great service, clean rooms, nice amenities, surrounded by variety of food choices. In addition to all that, a great location with beautiful views. Highly recommend

We are staying here now. We requested a room away from elevators and quiet, even confirming that with the front desk young man. We get off the elevator and our room is right across the hall. The person above us has been up late making noise and now there has been chairs moving and possibly house keeping up there. Before 7am!! The traffic noise is loud on the city side, even from the 23rd floor. The room is not that clean with lint on the rug, dirt here and there on the floor, and someone’s snot wiped on the night stand. We are here for a convention and would not choose this hotel again. I will be bringing my concerns to the front desk staff this morning. It is close to the convention center and the river walk. The food was good at Anchor and Brine.Update: our room was directly under the concierge lounge. So much for our quiet room request. The front staff has moved us to a different room. Beware that the city side is very noisy with traffic, construction, and the trolley, so if you are a light sleeper, maybe the water side would be better.

Very well located. Use the south entrance through the restaurant to get direct access to the Riverwalk. As a conference venue + hotel this is a top notch location.

Location of the hotel is really good although downtown traffic can be a little crazy at times. There are a lot of dining options, from upscale to budget friendly, available around the hotel in downtown. Pam Lorio parking garage is at a couple of minutes walk away from the hotel where you can park for $15 per day; the hotel valet charges $45 per day for the same and they also use the same garage to park your car.As far as the room that I got was concerned, it was nicely appointed with a good bathroom that had a stand-in shower instead of a bathtub, which I prefer. My room was towards the river side, so the views were great. However, I had two issues: my room was next to the elevator and I kept hearing it going up and down all the time, and was especially annoying at night when you are trying to sleep. The second issue was water coming out of the shower area through the gap between the sliding door and the floor, and making the bathroom floor wet. I'm not sure they can fix the first issue as it requires sound deadening with some heavy duty insulation between walls but they can definitely fix the second issue. So, in all, if you are staying there, do not get a room next to the elevator or else you will have a bad night. Rest is good.

Everything was great!! Most front desk were great, Brenda and Mia that I recall and also David G is superb!!!Until I came across front desk representative named Joseph, a male. I requested for feminine pads, and he has the audacity to say I only need ONE?! Joseph does not represent or reflect Marriott’s values in DEI. Obviously. He’s tarnishing Marriott’s DEI values.

I travel often for work and usually stay with Marriott. The hotel is nice. Rooms clean. My con is the Destination Credit. They say it’s a Daily Dining credit. So if you pay $30, you get $30 back in addition to the other perks depicted on the sign. However what they don’t tell you is that the Dining Credit is taxed a few dollars AND even more disappointing is the DAILY dining credit is only 12pm-12am. If you can see the photo it doesn’t have any time restrictions on there. And, this was not at all explained to me, so two of my days I planned specifically to eat breakfast at their restaurant and charge the room of which I didn’t get the credit back for. What a waste and very frustrating!!! I would not choose to do this again.

I spent over 9 months working in the area chose this place as my home base. They offered great rooms that were spotless every time! They have a great gym and good selection of food at their water front restaurant. The location is also central to all nearby restaurants and tourist spots. It’s my favorite place to visit when I stay in Tampa.I can’t wait to visit again. ?Food & drinks: Great oysters!!!
