Great lil hole in the wall.. low-key pub serves sandwiches and cold beverages. This place reminds me of the small bars you find in michigan. Affordable, cozy. Has poo tables, dart boards, indoor outdoor seating.. They slice their own meat fresh for the sandwiches .. recommend this place if you're looking for something chill with friendly staff.

They eliminated smoking!!! 5 stars for what it is: a very old, local Pub and watering hole in South Tampa. Tucked inside Britton Plaza, the Tapper recently changed ownership. They still make delicious sandwiches, offer a full bar and have friendly staff.
Do not use your card there, they will keep adding charges days later ?

This was our 3rd visit to Tapper Pub since the reopening. Never was a patron because of the smoking inside. No more though! We have enjoyed the visits and the food has been excellent! Pastrami, corned beef sandwiches have been excellent!! They have enough outdoor tables that even if you come upon a smoking customer, there are enough tables to separate from that! Bring your pup for Outdoor only though! Tabitha( day time bartender) hope I got that correct, is super nice and they have cold beer/wine but today are beginning to get the draft beer installed!! Give them a try in the Britton Plaza shopping area next to Publix!

Now NON-SMOKING Yay! Smells clean and fresh.Under new ownership who are making some great changes. They have put in a new bar and cooking area. Many more renovations to come. The food is outstanding and really good prices. Very friendly place. Highly recommend! Oh a new pool table and four new awesome dartboards.
