This was our 3rd visit to Tapper Pub since the reopening. Never was a patron because of the smoking inside. No more though! We have enjoyed the visits and the food has been excellent! Pastrami, corned beef sandwiches have been excellent!! They have enough outdoor tables that even if you come upon a smoking customer, there are enough tables to separate from that! Bring your pup for Outdoor only though! Tabitha( day time bartender) hope I got that correct, is super nice and they have cold beer/wine but today are beginning to get the draft beer installed!! Give them a try in the Britton Plaza shopping area next to Publix!

Now NON-SMOKING Yay! Smells clean and fresh.Under new ownership who are making some great changes. They have put in a new bar and cooking area. Many more renovations to come. The food is outstanding and really good prices. Very friendly place. Highly recommend! Oh a new pool table and four new awesome dartboards.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps

So in my opinion they used to have the best Rueben in town…. Well, we got one to go today, and what a disappointment!! Different bread, different everything .. sandwich was unrecognizable!! Well, I have to say, I won’t be craving one of those anymore!! So sad!!!

Last time we were here was a few years ago when it still smelled like smoke inside. Omg the food is so good when you just want an amazing sandwich. It was $8 for my monster club with potato salad. So clean and it's a great atmosphere.

I’ve rode by here & thought to check it out just never got around to it until today… I made time since I was in the area. When I saw they had food I was like yessss, I’m going! Gina greeted me with a warm down home smile, making me feel comfy immediately. I ordered the southwest turkey sandwich…absolutely divine!! The turkey is plenty & everything tasted fresh & delicious! Prices are still reasonable & it definitely feels like a locals gem… I will definitely return & they stay open late. Only con is: there’s a slight smell in the place just smells like old building & pipes. Ask for Gina when you go!! ?

I called in and ordered to go. The girl on the phone was very sweet! I ordered Ruben sandwich because it was the lunch special of the day and it did not disappoint. It was served on delicious rye bread and was packed with meat! I could only finish half. The potato salad was delicious too! I added the salt and pepper. The have really cleaned the inside of this bar up. They don't allow smoking inside which is nice because I usually stop in during work and don't like smelling like cigarettes. Definitely check this place out if you're in south Tampa. It seems like a fun neighborhood bar and they have a bunch of drink specials too. Lunch specials are $8 everyday. Grab you Sammie! The man who makes them makes them with a lot of love!
