We called in an order, we clearly stated “No spicy please”. We grabbed the order and went home. We tried it and was SUPER spicy, the fried rice and the panang to the point where we couldn’t eat it. We asked for a refund since we are leaving to the airport and couldn’t go exchange it and wait 30 mins for new food, they refused. I even offered to drop off the spicy non edible food for a refund they also refused. We wasted $45. Horrible customer service and horrible simple English comprehension. Never going back here again. They think we’re trying to get free food or something. We’re two adults with kids and responsibilities and can’t go back to get a new order due to their own mistake. Your food is untouched and going to the trash thanks. Go learn English please

This is our go to Thai place whenever we visit Tampa. Their food tastes flavorful each time we come here. And we have been coming here for over 15 years now. We recently visited for lunch on a Friday. Got complimentary soup and for dessert got complimentary Thai donuts! We love their sticky rice with mango! We have tried most of their entries and they are really good. One thing I would say about their spice levels - medium spicy was on the hotter level than most medium levels we have at other Thai restaurants, but still flavorful.Dietary restrictions: GF and DF friendly

My family LOVED visiting Thai Ruby. Upon stepping inside you are greeted by a beautifully decorated space. The food was fantastic, and we could not have been more impressed with the staff. I wish I had two more thumbs so I could give Thai Ruby four thumbs up!Dietary restrictions: I am vegetarian and am always thankful for a tasty and well done tofu dish.Kid-friendliness: We dined in with our seven year old and had no issues. He enjoyed his chicken pad thai.

Standard Thai restaurant. Have been twice. Once for pepper and garlic tofu and the other for drunken noodle tofu and both tasted like fresh ingredients but lacked flavor. The pepper and garlic dish was very watery and made the food a bit soggy.

Me and my girl went about a few days ago. The food was so bad that we had to give it to a homeless person. Inside you are meet with such eepiness, the vibe was just not right. At least the thai teas were good.

I heard good things about the place. Had the crabmeat soup, it was good. Portion was kinda small. But the worst is the hospitality there. We all expect people in food business to be cordial even if you order something less expensive or just one item, but I felt really sad. I felt ordering one or two items made me less of a customer than others. I am disappointed.

Thrilled to discover a great Thai restaurant in Tampa. The Tom Yum Goong was perfect, close to the best I have had. Wanted to order the fried Red Snapper but got the fried Grouper as they were of the snapper. Nice and crisp, cooked to perfection with an awesome chili sauce that was sweet and spicy and simply fantastic. We also got the chicken green curry and shrimp with spicy chili. All of them were delicious but the grouper stole the show.Went back again and had the Red Snapper. Absolutely devine!!!! See added picture.

Yearning for Thai cuisine, I scoured nearby options and stumbled upon Thai Ruby, which boasts stellar reviews. Opting for the ease of a phone order, I dialed in my selections: Thai Spring Rolls, Chicken Red Curry, and Chicken Pad Thai. The pickup time was an efficient 30 minutes.Upon arriving to collect my order, I found the restaurant's ambiance delightful, exuding an authentic Thai vibe. With the order in hand, I eagerly commenced my culinary journey. The Thai Spring Rolls initiated the feast, delivering a delightful crunch and delectable flavor, seemingly fresh out of the oven. Transitioning to the main course, the combination of Pad Thai and Red Chicken Curry proved to be amazing--an exquisite, harmonious blend that made for a perfect dinner. The Thai fare from Thai Ruby exceeded expectations. Each dish was delicious and served piping hot, enhancing the overall dining experience. It was truly a culinary indulgence that left me thoroughly satisfied.

First time with my friend, and we will never come back. I never do bad review yet this place got me writing this. The pineapple fried rice was wet and tasted weird. We had one piece, and ask the lady server if she can do anything. She told us to order something else but STILL charge the food that we didn’t bother to touch. Horrible service. Never coming back!
