I came here not knowing what to expect. The atmosphere is excellent as soon as you walk in. Very clean and aesthetically pleasant! They also have friendly and attentive service. I ordered their fried "Bird" sandwich and it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've eaten.

Well it’s in a Shriners hall, which is a little odd, but the food’s good, the drinks are affordable, and the Monday blues jam is fun!

Wow, The 1918 (previously the Palm River Oasis) is a hidden gem, and open to the public! I learned about it through our local supper club social group that dines at different eating establishments each month. Palm River Oasis was selected by one of our members, and we’ll definitely be going back. It sits right along Palm River, the building is fairly new, impeccably clean and modern, and has ample indoor and outdoor seating. Reasonably priced drinks, and a very decent menu for bar food - we tried the jerk wings, flatbread and mojo pork sandwich, and all were very good. Others in our group had the large pretzel, various sandwiches and flatbreads and everyone like what they had. There is also a huge room with a stage, available to rent for special events. Highly recommend!

Whether you are a Shriner, a friend or family member of a Shriner, a member of the community, or just visiting from out of town, this place is definitely a must-see!I have it on good authority that there will be a food menu popping up in 2022, but for now, this place offers a sprawling full liquor bar, tavern arcade games like bowling and golf, a ton of flat panel TVs and a projector for sports and other goings ons, and an incredible view of the river with a beautiful backdrop, especially in evening hours. It's located in the Egypt Shriners Temple, completely open to the public, and they don't disappoint. You get to enjoy the company of friends, very reasonably priced drinks, and help a good cause with your patronage all at the same time. Can't think of a better way to spend an evening than feeling part of the community like the bars of old back in John's Pass the for all the redevelopment.Definitely a small town feel and everyone is happy to see you-- even if your first time here.
