What can I say. They have real good bar food and great prices on everything. I like the location on Davis Islands but haven’t been to the downtown spot as of yet. It’s a dive bar but nicer. Good staff.
Great food = good service = when the sports are good it's a bit loud (it's a plus)

I have been to the Anchor Bar three or four times with my friends for lunch. Jeona has always been our server and she is attentive and polite. Refills, no problem. She is the only one serving and she has always managed to keep track of everyone. The food is good--the servings are substantial. The French Fries are the best! Although our group doesn't drink, I would suggest it for lunch whether you have a drink or not.
