The atmosphere here is great - pop art all over the walls, very cool. I love that the lattes here aren't overly sweet. Very well balanced so you can still taste the espresso, just as a latte should be! Can't wait to come back!

Amanda is one of the best servers at The Attic Café! Every time I visit, she’s quick, efficient, and always on top of everything. My order is taken promptly, drinks and food come out fast, and she somehow manages to check in at just the right moments without hovering. Her friendly attitude and consistent speed make dining here an easy choice. Great service every time!

Although the food isn’t that bad. I wouldn’t recommend this place. We waited over an hour for our food, and the service was just as slow and unorganized. It wasn’t even busy, so there’s really no excuse for the delay. Staff didn’t check in with us or offer any updates, and overall the experience was disappointing. Definitely not coming back.

Please don’t go here. This was hands down the worst experience I’ve had in Tampa. We had reservations at The Attic, showed up on time, and it wasn’t even busy. We were the first ones seated. Still, it took over 30 minutes just to get coffee and drinks. Our server, Esmeralda, never came over to check on us, never offered refills, and didn’t even take our order until we finally flagged her down.
After waiting more than an 1.5hrs for food that never came to the table, this is on top of the 30minutes it took for drinks...we finally decided to just get up and pay for our drinks. They made us wait up front another 10 minutes just to check out, then brought our food in takeout boxes and made us pay for all of it. Two hundred dollars for food we didn’t even get to eat there.
They automatically charged a 20 percent tip because there were six of us, which I understand is standard, but for what? We got drinks, no service, and food in boxes. No one acknowledged us, no one apologized, nothing. As someone who works in this industry, I can tell you this was beyond unacceptable. Probably the worst service I’ve ever had in Tampa. I’ll never go back.

Coffee? God awful Cuban sandwich? Pork went MIA, ham and cheese sandwich at best. Steak tips and eggs? Smelled like a wet rag. 1 out of 5 because negative is not an option. I do not recommend. Disappointing for Ybor City.

Any time i’m in Tampa, I always stop at the attic for breakfast/brunch! LOVED the old location, but the new location is in a nice quiet spot in town with a nice open atmosphere. The food, as always was delish! Can’t wait to come back 🫶🏼💖
