The service was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. However, there were slight delays in getting our orders taken during peak hours, which is understandable given the restaurant's popularity.

Awesome location. Rooms always clean. The most important part of this trip was the level of customer service this hotel showed. Alexis and Anthony at the front desk made checking in and losing room keys an effortless process. They also included a few jokes! Loved it! Jose at the bar extremely friendly and makes the best margaritas. Fred, that worked at night, ensured we had everything we needed! When we return to Tampa we will be staying here because these employees!!!

Great hotel. Clean and quiet rooms that are well laid out. Great location near everything downtown Tampa has to offer. Friendly and professional staff who make you feel welcome. Good value for a downtown hotel as well.

Great affordable place right Downtown! When first pulling up I was greeted by Valet Jonah who was sweet and hardworking. Walking into the front Desk I had the pleasure of being greeted by Anthony he was so extremely welcoming and helpful. I made the mistake of booking through third-party and Anthony and Jae the manager fixed everything , what could have been a nightmare, turned out to be such a smooth transaction due to their excellent customer, service, and warm dispositions! This Marriott mirrors, a lot of Marriotts that I have been in before very clean and sleek, looking! They do have a small Starbucks and a small bar on site open until 10 pm which is extremely convenient and there is a really nice outdoor seating and pool area! Any staff member I came across, Starbucks, Brent at the bar were very nice and helpful! Later on I seen Jonah patiently, helping a disabled woman in the lobby still smiling around 11 PM! I will definitely recommend staying here!

My husband and I had a quick overnight stay here in March 2023. Great location right downtown in Tampa. We were able to walk or rent scooters to go to dinner at Ulele (AMAZING!). Our room was comfortable with plenty of room for two - more would have been a bit tight. The bathroom was a great size and the shower was hot and pressure was great! We enjoyed laying by the pool in the sun (we came from a cold climate) and loved the added bonus of the bar which opened at 5pm. We would easily stay here again!

Just ok for the price. Not bad enough for us to relocate but not good enough for the price we paid to stay again. And this is from a loyal Marriott customer. The room could use a hook in the bathroom to hang a shower cap or robe as well as a suitcase stand. More hangars are needed as well. There is a small fridge and microwave which is convenient. What’s available for breakfast is essentially the equivalent of a Starbucks. The location is pretty good with several restaurants and the River Walk being walkable.

We stayed overnight for a concert with a rate of over $700 for a standard room and the room condition and service was beyond unacceptable. The A/C was broken and the rug was soaking wet and when we came at midnight from the event one of the beds linens were soaking wet. When we called the front desk, a maintence person was sent who proceeded to hand us the sheets to remake the bed and walked away. When we checked out and I spoke to the front desk, they remarked the room was not out of the ordinary and dismissed my concerns. I followed up with an email to management with no response to date. Bad experience, zero stars. Avoid.

Spent two nights here visiting UTampa. Hotel was modern and clean with great front desk staff that were helpful and pleasant at all hours. Location was great, easy walk to UTampa, restaurants and Trolley. Pool was clean. We did use the valet parking, staff was friendly and quick. No issues, would definitely stay again.

Such a fun stay. Lively & lovely staff. Super friendly & very efficient. Great location in the middle of everything. Clean bedroom & nice amenities. Will return! Even on a sold out weekend they made you feel like a VIP.

One of the best rooms I have used with Marriott. Staff and services were first rate. Location was excellent and close to many incredible dining options with waterfront seating. Private parking is close by but the same cost as on-site vallet parking. Vallet service was timely and I never had any issues (no waiting). Very large and well maintained room with a great view from the balcony. All in all, definitely a return facility when visiting MacDill AFB (about 25 minutes away).

We stayed at this location and everything was great. The staff were very tentative to us and made our stay a pleasure. We had a double Queen room. It was a clean spacious room with a microwave, refrigerator, a nightstand and a desk work area. The location is in a great spot, with a lot of options within walking distance. They have valet parking which is $30 per day. However the self parking is the same but there are street parking self paying options that you can pay and add the time that you need. Our overall stay was a awesome experience. I tried to include a video of the view from window. Sorry I was unable to. I would defiantly stay here again.

Booked a room here when we were in town for a Tampa Bay Lightning game. The location was a short Uber or walk from Amalie Arena. The route between the two had a variety of shops and restaurants, and was pleasant enough by day. After dark, however, the area along N Tampa Street had a very seedy vibe. Transients and weirdos (some of which were verbal and hostile) seemed to be everywhere and there was ZERO police presence. Pretty sketchy, but not the hotel's fault by any means. The hotel's public areas and our room were very clean and comfortable. The bed itself was awesome. The hotel staff was always pleasant and made us feel welcome. The only thing I saw that was unusual was the way they handled ice. I don't think there were ice machines on each floor, but rather along the corridor they had a sort of "wet bar" setup with a sink and what looked like a wine refrigerator containing half-filled bags of ice for guests to use. It accomplished exactly the same thing, but was a different take on how ice is usually provided. Not bad at all, just different. One helpful hint I would offer would be to request a room on the back (north) side of the building overlooking the pool. I suggest this because traffic noice on the Cass Street side of the building could was noisy until well after midnight. Overall, however, our stay was enjoyable and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this location again.

My wife and I stayed here on vacation to other parts of Florida. We had a pleasant stay. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The room and beds were comfortable. The location is good. We walked to the River Walk area which was very pleasant. There was no free breakfast as in the past but we were close to breakfast restaurants.
