It's in the hotel lobby. Food was surprisingly good. Was upset I asked for the pasta twice during my two week stay and they were out both times. Little pricey, but I mean it's in a hotel lobby. Perfect for nights you don't want to go anywhere.

We have stayed at this hotel every year since 2011 for Baseball Spring training. We really enjoy this hotel and its location to Yankee George Steinbrenner field. We were there for 5 nights. The rooms facing the courtyard are great. The beds are soooo comfortable. Yasmari, Matthew and Alex were so accommodating to make sure we had the room that we wanted. Tania, Marisol (Anna) and Mercedes were really excellent house keepers. They had our room so welcoming every day. There are many other choices but This is what keeps us coming back to this hotel every year. Thank you, ....looking forward to the same experience next year!
We very much enjoyed our stay at this location. Room was great, we were given an upgrade. The pool was quite and clean. The hotel is within walking distance to around 12 restaurants. A free airport shuttle is convenient. Hotel is clean, quite, has fireplace, a bar, lite food fare and a designated smoking area and good gym. Policy for no smoking on balcony is strict with a 250.00 fee! If I was a large family with several children I don't think this hotel would be ideal since the pool area is small with limited chairs. I used my Marriot points to stay. Had I not I would not have been pleased to pay up words of $399.00 per night in a regular room for this property. Request a pool view. Parking lot view is not good. One negative was rooms have no safe and even though we requested no room service several people entered the room such as maintenance to spray for bugs and a carpet cleaning company. I would not leave major valuables in the room. Friendly staff.
I can't say enough good about this hotel, stayed Christmas Eve and day and New Years eve. During these busy times everyone I encountered during my 2 stays were wonderful. The staff were helpful offered to help me with my bags, when I couldn't get my cruise reservations on the hotel computer one of the staff brought his laptop over to help me, very much above regular front desk service. I needed to get food for my 2 day Holiday layover, knowing nothing would be available that evening and the next day, Angela offered to have the shuttle driver take me to a store and pick me up when I was asking about getting an Uber to the grocery store on Christmas Eve. again a example of the staff going the extra mile. There are several motels close to the Tampa airport but this is the only one I will stay with next trip to Tampa,
Was about as I expected...well enough for my needs on a short trip. I will mention a couple points for travelers. The rooms on the backside could be slightly challenging for someone with limited mobility. Additionally, there are only a few small elevators. And don't expect quick service from the Bistro if you are in a rush. However, I enjoyed my stay. It was quite, comfortable, and the Bistro for breakfast was a fantastic idea (I hope to see more of that throughout the Marriott chain). I would likely try another very near Marriott on my next stay at Tampa but would use this one if required.
We stayed here two nights visiting the University of Tampa. Location was great to get to campus and around the area. Free parking and access was great. Our room was ready and clean when we arrived. Wi-Fi worked well and we had no problems during our stay. I would stay here again. The only concern I have is the gym is a little dated and had no towels and only one mat. Makes it tough to get a hotel work out in.
The hotel looks relatively new, but it must be a European design. Everything seemed small and furniture looked like Ikea. Our room had a king sized bed in a tiny room. The refrigerator was so small a standard take out container would not fit in it. There was a lack of drawers and storage space. The shower did not have a door or curtain. There is no microwave in the room - only one shared one in the lobby. No toaster oven at the hotel at all. Room rates were relatively high, but breakfast was not included. The bistro food is very limited and over priced - no free coffee in lobby - only Starbucks at bistro. Employees did not wear masks. It was summer in Florida and about 85 degrees outside, but the public areas were kept at 67 degrees. We put on jackets to walk from the room to the front door. We actually had to set the room thermostat to heat to keep the room at 73 degrees. The water was over softened creating a slip hazard in the shower.
We come to Tampa 4-5 times a year and really like this hotel. It is super clean and has attractive decor and furnishings. We enjoy the refrigerator and microwave in the room. It has a free airport hotel shuttle and free parking if you rent a car. There are a number of restaurants in walking distance and a Whole Foods across the street. There is an attractive pool and outdoor sitting area. The only improvement I would suggest would be a safe in the room. Otherwise this hotel is a solid choice. We have stayed here a bunch of times and plan to return.
This is such a cute well run hotel. Room was clean and ready for an early check in. It has a great outdoor courtyard and plenty of seating. It has a nice pool area and parking was free and close to our room. It was a very convenient location for my needs.
While I admittedly booked this solely due to the location when recently in town for a 1 day meeting, the hotel has much to be desired. The bed wad comfy and the staff was very pleasant. The shower was either ice cold or scolding hot, and the AC was a bit loud at night. Thin walla also made for a challenge to rest. Opt for a corner room if you can.

Stayed here one night before a early flight out of TPA. Nice renovated rooms and beds were super comfy. Convenient free parking and shuttle drive the airport starts early. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for one night following an awful experience at a nearby hotel. At Courtyard, they were able to get us in immediately after calling. This took place at 8am in the morning after a red eye flight that landed at 5am. There was absolutely no hassle. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and in great condition. Will most certainly stay here again when visiting Tampa.
My wife and I spent some time here last week for a little business and some personal time. It's convenient to all South Tampa/Downtown really have to offer with ease. The Dale Mabry is the closest N/S highway and you're right off 275. Easy access to the University of Tampa as well. We were upgraded to a suite without any issues. Suite was large with new interior. Balconies are still rather small in some parts of the hotel. Didn't have much room to spread out. Pool was nice. Manager had to bring out towels, but that was no big deal. Management easy to deal with and prompt service when things were needed. It's a reliable and central place to stay at a decent rate. Standards amenities and comfort.
Appreciate the management swapping rooms for me after the people below us smoked all day and caused the rooms around them to smell. Good location close to the Stadium and places to eat right next to it. Room is a little awkward designed. Can’t sit on the couch or bed to watch TV. Overall worth the money.
Good food, awesome coffee and great service.
