I can’t say enough good things about this place. The brisket is absolutely phenomenal — tender, juicy, and smoked to perfection. They make the best Cuban sandwich & their potato salad is outstanding. You can tell they take real pride in their craft.
The staff is friendly, fun and the atmosphere has that laid-back, welcoming BBQ vibe. It's the kind of place where you instantly feel at home — and full. This spot is a must-try.

I have tried BBQ at dozens and dozens of roadside stands, restaurants and wherever I find it. The Brisket Shoppe has no compare. Unbelievably good brisket, great ribs, sides and that banana pudding! Will be back, soon! Really great staff too!

Danny and his staff put on a clinic for 8 of us on what exceptional BBQ should taste like and what southern hospitality should feel like. The brisket lived up to the hype. The smoked turkey stole the show as it was so moist and flavorful. When picking up the turkey with my fork it should flopped over like a slice of juicy brisket. That said, don’t skip the homemade jalapeño sausage or the collards. Can’t wait to go back. Pro tip - load up on the brisket bon bons and take a bag of pork rinds to go.

Not sure why everyone rants and raves about this place. The brisket was extra dry. Give 4 rivers a shot brisket is much better there. Everything else here was pretty good the low score is because they promote the brsket and they are literally called the Brisket Shoppe.

Our family traveled from Lakeland and Plant City to visit the Brisket Shoppe for the first time and we all agreed this is some of the best barbecue we’ve ever had! We specifically went to taste Chef Jeff Philbin’s Porchetta Sandwich - which was absolutely amazing - but we also got a sample of just about everything on the menu and were blown away by the taste and quality of the meats and menu items. The owner, Danny, even came out to greet us and shared about the history of the place. He was so great as well! I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was worth the trip and we will be back for sure!
This was our second visit. We had the wagu brisket burger, cuban sandwich and the Saturday special featuring the Porquette birthday sandwich. All were outstanding!!
