really fun space, terrible bartenders who respond to your drink order by saying “oh god no we don’t have that and even if we did, no” lol. Being polite is not hard. spookeasy upstairs has much nicer staff!

Our first time in this place primary for the oddities market. Went upstairs to get some food to be severely disappointed. Quesadilla was very greasy for some reason, the nachos were stale and the ground beef tasted store bought and not seasoned, but somehow kept getting what seemed like a mouthful of salt. Food was overpriced for the poor quality. I did like the joint with all of the horror themed stuff in and on the walls. I may frequent again to check out the night scene but will probably stray away from the food, sadly.

Cant comment on the food as I couldn't get food as the bartender girl wouldnt take order directly and I had no network down there. The stars are for the ambience and couple nice folks i met there.

This place was super cool. Music was a blast and the bartender was super nice and attentive. The guy working the door wasn’t particularly helpful. We found out there was cash cover at the door. He’d rather see us leave than tell us there’s an ATM upstairs that we could use. Lucky for us someone in line overheard and let us know about it.

Cool underground bar with a good vibe. We were able to order food from upstairs. A nice selection of cocktails. We tried the Ybor Cablecar, the Bramble, and the Rocket Pop, all of them were tasty. Live DJ playing hits that fit the theme. Smaller space but plenty of seating available.

Easily the rudest bartenders in ENTIRE Tampa (perhaps even whole of Florida).
Firstly, when you order drinks, they wouldn't make eye contact, and make you feel like you are being done a favor. Next, I was tired from a long Friday, and just put my head down for 5 seconds to rest, when one of them ran up to me saying putting head down is forbidden.
Next, there were a couple of shots that were prepared for the public, and when I asked if I could have one, I was told yes. Immediately, the other bartender escorted me out, and was 'removed' from the bar for simply taking a 'shot' meant for the everyone.
I am not sure if this was a general demeanor specifically targeted at me because I was seen as a 'potential immigrant stealing their jobs', or because the bartenders are generally rude towards everybody.

What an Ybor landmark in the making, Great space, love the Parisian Catacombs Vibe, Legendary Ybor Bartender Dave Drake does not disappoint, he takes his bar and patrons seriously and provides top notch service, DJs are a great rotation, you get to hear pretty much whatever your jam on different days.
