Absolutely love this place. Been here many times and it never disappoints. Fish and chips are amazing. Great selection of drinks. Staff super friendly. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
Live music on Saturday night. The artist had great song selections? The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable!Great customer service from the hostess and waitress.Fries and broccoli ? were tasty ? Salmon was not seasoned and the Belhaven burger was too cheesy.
We had their fish and chips. They are the best that we've had in the US. We'll definitely go aagain.
Burns supper was surprisingly authentic. Never been to a restaurant for this event, usually a Scottish American Society. The haggis was mild but spot on. The star of the dish was the turnips, slight spice was a nice addition to the haggis. The dessert was a light pond cake with a crunchy edge with clotted cream...so simple and wonderful! Had the goat cheese dip as well, which will be a staple next time we go. Service was up and down, but it was an odd night for them, so I would expect it would be better normally. Already looking forward to next year's supper!
Very cool pub and authentic atmosphere. The fish n' Chips are excellent and a huge portion. Scotch eggs was a good attempt but not perfect, little overcooked also. But everything else including the service(Yelen) was great. Highly recommend if you are wanting traditional pub style food.
Having been in Florida from England for nearly a month, our young daughter had a craving for fish & chips, so we tried The Pub. The food was excellent, the surroundings were very British and our server was nice. We did notice that they seemed a little understaffed and we felt sorry for the waitresses that were running as fast as they could.
The Shepherd's Pie and Fish and Chips were fantastic! They were both very flavorful with wonderfully blended seasonings; without being "too much" of any specific one. The fish was cooked perfectly! Unfortunately, the food is definitely the only reason to go. The service/atmosphere is NOT the reason. We sat at the bar because they have many different draughts on tap and I like to try different ones. However, I only got to try one because the bartender (never told me his name) was not interested in discussing the options. Then after I finished the "red" draft I had with my lunch, he could not be bothered to check on us again. After waiting about 10 minutes sitting at the bar (right in front of him) with empty glasses, we finally flagged down the other bartender for the check so we could go elsewhere. I do not think the problem was that he was overly busy, but that he was mad that he was working. I bartended many years working my way through college and was much busier than him. The entire top floor was not opened and there were at least two bartenders working. I believe it was attitude, not aptitude on his part. Rod was the only employee in the restaurant that actually talked with us. He seemed to genuinely care about our visit. If he is not a manager, he should be; or at least lead customer service trainer. We may go back again for the food, but not before checking out the many other great looking restaurants in the mall. Hopefully, we can find one with a marriage of fabulous food AND service.
If you've never eaten a real English breakfast in England, then you might think that this place served a good English breakfast. But it was nothing like a real English breakfast! The baked beans were clearly out of a can! Very sad! Their eggs benedict were tasteless. The only good thing was their side of potatoes. Perhaps the chef should take a trip to England to learn what real English food tastes like. The service was mediocre. The restaurant is very cute though. They got the décor right at least. There was live music which was entertaining.
This wasn’t our first time and it surely will not be our last time going to our favorite restaurant at international mall.We decided to try something new with the Scotch Eggs, what an amazing starter for someone wanting more protein and sustenance than just bread that other places offer. A good idea if you plan on drinking which this place has very good options. My girlfriend got the chicken Gouda pasta and I got the welsh dip sandwich. The chicken Gouda pasta might be my favorite pasta dish from any restaurant including some very expensive places locally such as a very popular one in st. Pete starting with the letter B… and the welsh dip is something very different, a pretzel bun sandwich that you dip into a sauce that is exquisite to say the least.
After we waited for tables to be cleaned we were finally seated. We didn't wait long but found it weird we had to wait when it didn't look that busy. I got the fish and chip. Honestly, probably the best I've had in a long time. The coleslaw was surprisingly good for a restaurant. My wife got the chicken and waffles. The waffles were good. The chicken, although tasted fine, it was over cooked. I also got a whiskey flight that was skimpy. They were out of the one I really wanted to try. Instead of telling me before, they just replaced it with something else.

Very good fish and chips. Large piece of fish and not over breaded or fried. Great atmosphere and service. All your Pub favorites and then some. Appetizers were very good as well
Came in on a Friday around 7 pm, we were sat immediately. The decor is what you would expect of an Irish pub, dark wood and dim lighting. The food was amazing, especially the burgers. Fish and chips was also great. The drinks were also very tasty. Our waitress was very nice and came to check on us regularly!
I stopped in The Pub before going into the International Mall & I’m glad I did. It was just after lunchtime & the pub was quiet, the bartender was friendly, sociable, efficient & makes a killer Irish Mule. The atmosphere is old British or Irish pub, with the typical dark woods & was comfortable, cozy without being cramped. I ordered one of their July menu specials, beef bourguignon, a French stew dish. It was extremely good & made me think of my 1st Cousin who made this while I was visiting her in France. I asked the bartender to surprise me with a beer that would compliment the stew & his selection of draft Smithwicks was spot on. Overall, while it was very pleasant for a late lunch, it can probably become hectic in the evenings & on weekends. I highly recommend The Pub for a late weekday lunch.
I Really like the International Plaza! The Atmosphere is high Energy and There is a lot do and some really good places to eat there. I been to the Pub Many Times And there Fish&Chips are the Best in Tampa Bay. The Pub reminds me of a British Bar in England.
Today I visited The Pub for lunch. The wait staff was friendly and timely to get us and get our beverage order. Afterwards the table ordered many different dishes. I order the fish and chips I would give the amount 8/10. Great food! The slaw had too much mayonnaise for me. My daughter ordered the shepherds pie and would rate it a 7/10. Another person ordered the bangers and mash she enjoyed and had no complaints. For a appetizer we tried some scotch eggs. I’d give them an 8/10.The atmosphere made you feel like you were in a Pub in London. The bar was beautiful and the bench seats were cozy.
