Cool vibe, worth just walking in to take a peek. Sandwiches aren’t amazing but do the job.

Says it’s open online but closed all summer
When I was student in the mid 70's it was a great place place for a brew or two. When did it go woke.
One of the best subs I had in awhile!! One of UT's best kept secrets
Terrible place and disgusting food. The sandwiches are not fresh at all.
disgusting food
Sandwiches are good because they are made with boars head meat but I wish we could get them toasted :/ I didn’t see an option for that and I didn’t feel comfortable asking because the employees don’t seem that they want to be working there, they look miserable. They also use very vulgar language pretty loudly that can be heard from the dining tables.
Hands down BEST place to eat on the University of Tampa campus. I’m a senior and only discovered this place last semester but I’m grateful everyday that I did. The Boar’s meat is great and the veggies and spreads are fresh. My favorite spread is the chipotle mayo. It’s spicy and adds amazing flavor to your sandwich. If you eat here, you have to start with the signature Rathskeller sandwich! Make sure to get the Italian bread too. Oh so good. They usually pack lots of veggies on there, so I don’t feel as guilty.
Usually this would be a five except for the attitude of the employee at the cashier stand. Their card reader was down and I didn't have any cash on me . The manager tried and tried and it didn't work. The manager saw I didn't have cash and gave the sandwich to me for free(which was great) but then the employee looked at me with an accusing look saying well you must have cash. I said no I dont like to have cash on me but the manager said he would give it to me for free(mind you the order was made wrong and I was still not getting the chips or the drink because it was free anyways). She made me feel like I did something wrong and I just came there for free food which I didn't like and thought was super rude. Great manager but a horrible employee. Boo.
Love all the hard work and dedication dining services puts into everyday here at UT!

Bindu is an excellent chef and everything she makes is creative and very delicious!
Ms. Bindu's pasta and meatballs were amazing so I ate two plates full. It was excellent👍🏾👍🏾
Sandwich and coffee shop in the basement under the Plant Museum. No big deal -- Boar's Head meats and Starbucks coffee.
Also known as “the Rat,” this former pub now serves Boar’s Head deli sandwiches. On many days you can smell the bread baking upstairs in Plant Hall.
