The Sacred Pepper Reviews
For the first time ever, we neglected to make a reservation for a birthday dinner this evening for a party of 7. Your incredible team made it happen. 🙌 The food and service were on point, as usual. Thank you for being consistently awesome. ❤️
BEST CRAB CAKES IN FL!!! OMG I COULD EAT THEM FOR BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AND DINNER. EVERY NIGHT
Every time I have dinner at Sacred Pepper, I try something new and never have I been disappointed. This time I tried the Pistachio Crusted Fried Brie with cranberry chutney, balsamic reduction and d toasted parmesan crostini and it was amazingly delicious and also a shareable plate. For dinner I had the Oak Grilled Norwegian Salmon with heirloom tomato salad, white wine butter sauce, and house-made orzo pasta with a side of the Caramelized Brussels Sprouts with Applewood bacon...read full review

The Sacred Pepper offers a memorable dining experience with outstanding dishes like swordfish, in-house made pasta with shrimp, and triple tail fish, which is perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The restaurant features a vibrant and comfortable atmosphere, described as beautiful and impressive, with a bustling bar area where live music adds to the chill vibes. This makes it perfect for date nights or special occasions. The menu includes appetizers such as pistachio fried Gouda, highly recommended, and crab cakes that are great, alongside shishito peppers, a favorite among guests. Main courses include fillet mignon with white mac and cheese and ribeye, which some guests believe could compete with favorite steakhouses. While some dishes may be overcooked or lack seasoning, the food is generally hot, fresh, and delicious. Desserts such as cookies are a highlight, while chocolate cake tends to be dense. The chocolate chip cookies are said to be the best outside of homemade. The drink selection is excellent, complementing the well-presented food. Attentive and pleasant service enhances the overall experience, with staff like Alexis receiving specific praise for being very attentive. The restaurant is a popular spot for celebrating milestones like birthdays, making it a Carrollwood gem worth returning to. The ambience is intimate and ideal for a quiet date or a meet-up with friends, with live music providing the perfect mood. While the food is good and the atmosphere is excellent, some dishes may not be life-changing, but the quality and presentation are consistently high. Chef James is known throughout Tampa and does not disappoint, so making a reservation is a good idea.
