Cafeteria food at best. Sky Terrace had a beautiful menu and worth the price. Enjoyable time until about 2 years ago kept going downhill. Now having to pay just to sit and eat is ridiculous.

Had an amazing Sunday Brunch at this place! Hollywood Stu went above and beyond, guiding our group through the betting process with genuine attentiveness. It was our first time at the races, and his gracious explanations made the experience even more enjoyable. Fun times and unforgettable memories – highly recommend!

On website price was $29.95 but now $32.95. Bad price for just soup salad and sandwich. Did not include coffee or soda. Hamburger and chicken sandwich were really poor/not great quality. French fries were very good. Nice staff. Will never return.

Parking: Very limited handicap parking

Great view of the track and finish line. Reasonably priced drinks. The usual Sunday brunch buffet was suspended and the menu sandwiches were just ok. The salad and soup bar was pretty good. They were understaffed but the hostess and Chris, our waitress, worked really hard to make it a pleasant experience there. If you go now, just get the soup and salad bar. Looking forward to when the full brunch buffet returns.

Our experience was so great! We had waiter Stuart (AKA Hollywood Stu) and he was extremely kind and attentive. The soup and salad bar was really good and the view was also really nice. We will be back!

Do yourself a favor and skip the Skye restaurant. Food is beyond awful.

We went to Skye Terrace at the race track for the first time, got a hotel nearby, and intended to stay two nights and three days. Made reservations at the Skye Terrace Dining Room at the clubhouse. Entrances to the restaurants and other areas of the track are not marked as to where they take you. We entered at the first entrance we saw and ended up at the grandstand. There was no way to get over to the clubhouse and Skye Terrace. Finally found a security person to ask and had to go back out to the highway and to an entrance at the other end for the Skye Terrace in the clubhouse. They need better signs. That was the least of our problems. The Skye Terrace Dining Room is on the third floor. Arrived to find the only elevator to that floor of the clubhouse and to the restaurant was out of order. Were first told "Don't know what you can do; you're on your own". When we insisted, someone came and took us through the kitchens and up in the service elevator. We were told this was the last time they would do this for anyone as it was a safety hazard. They said the elevator has been out for a while because it is old and they cannot get parts. Their remedy seems to be to ignore the situation. We had to cancel our reservations for the following days due to lack of handicapped access. It was too late to cancel at our hotel and get a refund. It is against the law to fail to provide handicapped access to public restaurants and other public venues. If an inspector visits the clubhouse and its restaurants they will find their second and third floors shut down. The managers seemed to view our situation as a real inconvenience to them - forget about the inconvenience to their patrons. Valet parking and restaurant service people were friendly and pleasant. Food was expensive and mediocre. $30 per person for a small soup and salad bar and a sandwich. $40 pp if you want an entree. Would not be overpriced if the food matched the prices. We expected better food from their "upscale" restaurant. Will not return to the Skye Terrace or to this racetrack. Not worth the hassle. If you have mobility issues, best to check before you think about going.

Made reservations...they "lost" them...oh well, too bad, they say. Never again. Customer service is dead here.

Occasionally, when the track is open, we like to spend the afternoon dining and watching the horse racing. Groupon has specials for the restaurants and our Groupon gave us a great discount and food coupons. Enough of that. We ordered the the Monte Cristo with fries and the Superfecta (Reuben). For an appetizer, the CHARCUTERIE board (GREAT). The food was good and the service was better. the restaurant offers a way to get trackside and I would recommend it for a get-up-and-walkaround treat. Parking for today was a bit of an issue since the track was very busy due to a couple of hi stakes races. They offer VALET (which I dislike tremendously due to previous experiences and "LOST" items. We have handicap access and the had the close handicap spaces roped off for VALET ONLY!.. Our Groupon came with free valet but I still hate to let someone else drive my car. Got the car back and everything was OK. I recommend this place for a nice afternoon (they only have racing during the daytime). Check the website for racing days for the Tampa Bay Downs. All in all, our visit included the two meals, 1 bottle of Prosecco ($19.00), three Shock Top's ($13.50), the Charcuterie appetizer, the Monte Cristo and the Reuben for $67.78 (including tax). The Groupon gave us a 10.00 discount (2x5) and I left a $12.00 tip. Our server's name was Christine Z and she was AWESOME! I probably should have included more pics of the restaurant and the GIANT windows where you can see the racing from your table. Betting windows are very close and not a hassle to get to. The lady that mans the seating was VERY NICE and got us a great table.
