Do not order the fish tacos. they are the worst ever. Supposed to have a pineapple salsa like most fish tacos but instead came with shark cheddar cheese, and a sour creamy sauce.

So we stayed at the Alba hotel upon check in we were told the restaurant closed at 10. 9:30 we get back to the hotel and want dessert to go the restaurant was open but not a soul was working. The next morning we went down for breakfast and ordered a breakfast burrito it came without the chorizo so the server took it back to the kitchen where the cook opened up the burrito threw some chorizo in it didn’t bother wrapping it back up and sent it back out. The manager saw us send it back and didn’t bother checking on us we had to wait 15 mins to even speak with her. Absolutely horrible experience.

excellent excellent experience! We went there to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time as Anna the manager made sure that our anniversary was wonderful and special. The meal was amazing and the place was quaint and cozy. We cant wait to go back again! Thank you Anna for a great memory!

I would say a pretty good casual place, we came here just for a dinner (didn’t stay in the hotel). Food is not Spanish, I would say just new American but pretty good. Definitely recommend. It wasn’t busy either on Friday night.

Came here on Friday night for a dinner. It was pretty empty. It's located inside the hotel. Atmosphere is pretty nice, modern and pleasant..Service was good and pleasant. We ordered non alcoholic drinks that were ok. I think they could improve their mocktails. We had chicken flatbread, salad, Mahi sandwich. We also ordered a soup but they didn't have it. Food was definitely comfort food but very good. From the name, I though that this place would be more Spanish but it's typical new American. Which is definitely not bad. Mahi sandwich was amazing. Also, it's pretty affordable. Flatbread was pretty tasty as well.Definitely good experience and would recommend!
I’ll update it when I’m able to come back and eat but it really bothers me when places don’t have the correct hours they’re open they’re closed inside open at the pool bar we were told we can sit in the lobby and eat our food if you wanted to.

Overall, I was very impressed with the Hotel Alba. Planning the trip to the Tampa Bay Area, I had plans to spend time in both Tampa and St. Petersburg. Selecting a hotel near TPA made a lot of sense then as I had also planned to rent a car. The central location was very good and really helped make the trip as smooth as I had hoped it might be. I rarely stay in hotels near the airport as I typically select hotels in town. The hotel did not have the feel of a typical airport hotel. Entering the hotel, it was clearly modernized. Parking was generally very convenient as well. The room was as expected. Nice and clean with more space than I had actually expected. The only downside to the room might be the lack of an in-room refrigerator. That was a minor inconvenience. The hotel has a pool and a poolside bar. We didn’t take advantage of the pool as much as we should have. The bartender, Brian, was very friendly as we’re just about all staff we met. I would certainly plan to stay here again if and when returning to the area. Overall, the

We wanted a hotel near the airport as a base for a few days in Tampa. We were pleasantly surprised with our stay and the service that we received. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We requested extra towels as there were 3 of us and these were delivered quickly. The pool area looked nice and clean, but we did not use it due to our busy schedule. There was live music the night we arrived with table football and shuffleboard in the bar area. The room was a little dark even with every light on - the lights on the head boards were broken/not working. The electric blind was cool, but the door to the bathroom banged loudly as there was no rubber stopper. Overall a very pleasant stay and would be happy to return there.

Great hotel. Very clean rooms and an even cleaner bathroom! This hotel is about 12 minutes from the Bucs and Tarpons fields. It is about 15 minutes from the Tampa Bay Convention Center. The staff here are awesome. Donny went above and beyond to make check in a breeze and that my family was treated like royalty. We will stay here again, even the hallways smell awesome. Within walking distance to the West shore mall. Grimaldi’s is an excellent pizza shop!

We got stuck in Tampa & I randomly picked this hotel. What a wonderful surprise! There was a variety of pillow types on the bed & the BEST hotel restaurant I’ve ever eaten in! Will definitely come back and have already recommended it to others.
