Restaurant was empty at 4pm on a Monday. Maybe both the regular chef and the drinks maker were off. This place is definitely not what I remember from a few years ago, when it was bustling with life. My friend (who can’t eat fish sauce) ordered teriyaki chicken with steamed rice - she said it tasted salty and “not at all like teriyaki”. She returned it. I ordered the Special Vermicelli with roasted pork, egg roll, and and whatever else. The pork was as tough as jerky with no flavor. Vermicelli was over done. Veggies were cut up iceberg lettuce. The egg roll was terrible - not sure what’s in it but definitely not meat. The only thing that tasted the way it should was the fish sauce, but very disappointing because the dish costs $14.95. It used to cost less than $10 just a few years ago. My friend ordered the passion fruit smoothie ($6.50) and I ordered the avocado smoothie ($6.50) - both tasted like chalk! Totally fake powder. It used to be made from real fruits, not anymore! So the bill came out to be $31.50 for 1 fish sauce dish and 2 chalk drinks - skimpflation at its finest. Don’t waste your money.

The location is near the Tampa International Airport. They have parking and the food was nice (except the Bun rieu - Vietnamese crab, pork and tomato soup)The grill pork in Com tam (Vietnamese broken rice) was super soft, the taste is perfect. And the minus point for the Bun rieu, the soup color was too yellow and oil that I can't finish it.In general, the food was good with the reasonable price.

Lovely restaurant with authentic Vietnamese food. Huge selection of Vietnamese dishes and the ingredients are very fresh. We usually go for the Vegetarian Bun Hue and the Vermicelli noodle bowl with tofu. Both excellent dishes. They also have an extensive selection of yummy takeaway dishes, including many traditional Vietnamese desserts.Extensive selection of drinks (teas, smoothies etc).Probably one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Tampa.

Very nice and tasty Vietnamese food. They also have a small food store for quick ready made Vietnamese food and desserts.

I wasn't a big fan of the bahn mi chay. The tofu had no flavor, and the bread wasn't very good. The sandwich was very affordable with a price of only $5.50.

My family and I went there on a Friday night, the place was packed but we got stated pretty quickly. Appetizers came very quick and were yummy, the food was delicious! I took the veggie Udon soup, my fiancé got their chicken pad Thai and said it didn’t have a lot of flavor to it, my mother in law took some beef soup. Overall the food was good in my opinion. Great place for vegetarians!

Wow! I really enjoy this place. A Vietnamese restaurant with a large vegetarian menu section, a bakery, and with a to-go buffet that offers fried tofu (5 preparations). The sandwiches are very tasty, filling, and cheap.A happy place!!

Overall my husband said his food is not bad, but the bun rieu I ordered was not good at all. I usually don’t like to waste food, but this time I only finished 1/3 of the bowl. The spring rolls were tasteless. The Service at the table was good thought. After we ate and paid at the table (tips were 25%). I went to the bakery area and bought some desert, waited 15min in line to purchase. The total was about $10. I don’t think I need to give tips to the cashier so I skipped tips button. However, the guy gave me this nasty look and turned around the lady next to him and speaking in Vietnamese that I did not give him tips. It was ridiculous! Okay, I did not say anything and put some cash in the jar and he started laughing and told the lady that I probably understood what he said, and took tips out of the jar and put in his pocket. I never encountered this situation in my life. So ridiculous!

We ordered a pho and shrimp fried rice. The food was fresh and tasty. The quantity of the food is more, we couldn’t finish our servings.

I am a very critical person when it comes to Asian food. I am hardly ever satisfied when eating out because I can always make it how I like at home. However, Thinh An exceeded my expectations. Not every dish is the best but almost every dish was a 8/10 at the least. The service was exceptional and although it is very small inside, it doesn’t take away from the experience. You’re sitting very close to the next person but everyone manages just fine.
