Tiki Joe's At the Tahitian Inn

AWFUL,doesn’t even begin to describe this hotel or its staff!We arrived to a DISGUSTING room filled with bugs,a dirty bed,hair on the shower walls and drain and A toilet that didn’t flush. Rude staff!

I stayed in the Tahitian Inn for a week at the end of March 2024. It was a beautifull room, service was excellent and the breakfast at the restaurant every morning was the highlight of my day. Will definately stay there again and recommend them to others.

Outside seating by the waterfall makes your dining experience and food taste better. Omletes are always a go to woth plenty of delicious sides always more than you can eat and mimosas and bloody Mary's

Great drinks and friendly service

I do NOT recommend this place while staying in Tampa Bay. I had called the week before we were to stay because I had never received an email confirmation. That call alone should have told me to find another place, but by the end of the call I was told they would give me room 143, it was recently renovated and it was a nicer room. If that is the case I would HATE to see the other rooms. *House keeping only showed up 2 days, the day after we got there and 4times the day we left!😡 WE WERE THERE FOR 6 DAYS We had to track them down to get toilet paper and towels. When I asked them to come do the room the seemed surprised thinking they had done it already. *1/2 hour after we left we called because we left a charger plugged in next to the bed, my son went back to get it and miraculously there was none there. **there was mold in the bathroom ** lock on the door was broke **smoke alarm broken ** A/C didn’t fit the wall right 😡😡comforter had STAINS that they just put on upside down so we wouldn’t see it. Sheets were dirty!!!! Absolutely nasty floors, I MOPPED THEM MYSELF!!! My grandkids walked on them day 1 for an hour with no shoes and there feet were BLACK!!!! Please take a minute to look at the video and pictures and do NOT stay there. PS…. Pool/bar area was ok. A little sprucing up and it would be really nice.

better customer service when we first checked in we were given a room with a non-working toilet, it took 3 phone calls and on the 3rd one I was told that a toilet that won't fill up in the back holding tank did not mean it wasn't working. I fully disagreed and stated as such, that if you can not use it due to it not flushing then it is not working, after 8 hours of not having it fixed we were finally given another room.

Martina at the Torch Tiki bar at the Tahitian Inn is a real one. The hotel is nice, but if it wasn't for her, our experience wouldn't have been close to how it turned out. She really is one of the rare, genuine people you rarely have the opportunity to encounter. If you're staying at the Tahitian, don't waste your time with other bars in the area. Just go to the bar there. She'll make it worth your while

My one and only visit. A place that has seen better days and is a little too casual. The rooms are spacious and clean even though the bed was not comfortable. The price was reasonable, the pool area was nice although the bar didn’t have Bloody Mary mix and no tonic water. Although we were led to believe that the grill would be free and open, the truth is you had to order and pay. What was said to be an Italian sausage sandwich was in reality a fat hot dog. The restaurant was good. The food was well priced and good even if the place was noisy. I expected the vacationers to be loud it was the staff who was louder. The one shuttle from and to the airport was overbooked and cramped. We waited almost two hours at the airport to be picked up. The driver told and retold his Florida story over and again to garner whatever tips he could shake down.For a place that has been in business since the 1950’s you think they would have more than one shuttle and one part time driver. Not many upgrades in over sixty years either.

Pach's Place at the Tahitian Inn does not skip a beat! Same wonderful staff, great regulars and a caring owner.
