The sushi and Ramen here are delicious and at a good price. Its a pretty small, non-assuming place but man is it a good place to eat. Service was good, food came out quick, and everything was delicious.

It’s okay. The sushi is decent, the decor is a little cliche and could definitely use a little sprucing up, the waitress is very friendly and welcoming, and the price is reasonable during the lunch special. If you’re around the area, I would say stop by and try it out for yourself. If you’re not, then there’s better spots to go to.

Lovely little mom and pop sushi place. Quiet atmosphere, good variety of food (including for those of the vegetarian variety). Personally huge fan of their sushi rolls, miso soup, and ginger salad. Their agedashi tofu alone is worth coming back for.

The food was excellent. What had me concerned was the fact that when I went to the restroom there was a live cat that walked right in front of me in the back of the restaurant. I was blown! Definitely wasn't expecting that to occur.

I absolutely love this place. Very good rolls and Paul is always attending to his sushi counter so very artfully.

I've been a patron of Tokai since 1998 when I worked for an engineering firm nearby and would have lunch there with colleagues periodically. Sushi head chef Paul has been the main reason for exceptional sushi and excellent hot Japanese food all these years. Recently I did a sushi takeout which was superbly fresh and plentiful as always. Tokai's more current sushi special dinner for $16.95 includes 5 pieces of fresh nigiri, usually a tuna, mackerel, fresh salmon, sometimes yellowtail or white tuna, octopus or shrimp; 3 selections of 3-piece sashimi, usually tuna, fresh salmon and white tuna or yellowtail, three delectable mini salads of black seaweed and sesame seeds, green seaweed and white crab or surimi salad, and your choice of either a crunchy-spicy tuna roll (8 pieces) or a fresh salmon roll with avocado and rolled in flying fish (orange) roe. This special dinner also includes a wonderful small bowl of miso soup with soft tofu squares and pieces of green leafy vegetable and a cold green lettuce & carrot salad with awesome house ginger dressing. Alot of food for the money! My favorite specialty sushi is the volcano sushi which is a baked large surimi/crab stuffed oval roll covered in a chopped spicy-tuna salad and panko topping. Absolute heaven! Their hot entrees are great too as I often order a steak teriyaki dinner which includes Japanese rice, vegetables, miso soup and salad for under $16. I haven't tried their ramen dishes yet but will soon. They run two roll specials all the time for $9.99 and special rolls of different ingredients so give them a call to see what they're offering that day.

We have been coming here for 20 yrs. We love their food and service and have never had a bad meal or experience. Paul has been there every time we've ever been and has always been a super person.

Super friendly. Hot tea, California eel roll, stirfry veggies and miso soup were all good and a fraction of the price of big chain restaurants.

Very good meal here. Not that they did anything wrong but for the location there are others that are just as good with a better price. The place is very nice but parking is a bit of a challenge
