I came with my family to play Topgolf for the first time but after the experience I had at Tampa Florida location it will certainly be my last. From the moment I walked in the staff was the most unwelcoming group of people ever, especially, some young smug boy who checked us in. I walked up happy to play & told him I had a reservation. I asked if it was possible to be on the top floor. His immediate answer was no he couldn't guarantee me, I said OK then waited a minute & said do you need my name, he said yes duh. I was 20 minutes before my reservations so he said 15 minutes before you get a text I said OK & walked away. Even though the place was empty & it was clear that it was just us, I waited 5 minutes for him to send us a text & I responded mind you. He was 5 feet away from me watching us , then I got a second text to which I responded & finally, he spoke & said I can take you. I asked again to be at the top floor & he said no you are on this level, "at least you're not on the bottom level." I said that, it was not that crowded & I could see that there were easily bays available on the top floor, he said no. I went to my bay, I was immediately disappointed at the fact that there were no couches to sit at because the website only shows comfortable bays with couches, nice bait, and switch, not these uncomfortable high tables & chairs. I asked the young woman who came over, if we could switch & get to a couch area, clearly available, she said she would check but came back with a no. I had no doubt it was goning to be a no because she simply went to ask the same kid who checked us in. I was uncomfortable, I had driven an hour to get there. No one asked if they could help us start because Iwere were new. The food was gross, except one chicken dip, and even though it was clear, we didn't like or eat the meal, the waitress never cared, she didn’t ask if we wanted something else, she made no offer to rectify it. My waitress was unattentive. I had to chase her down for refills every time, she never checked on us unless we looked for her and was very unhelpful, until the time for the bill came then she popped up. I don't know what the problem was with the kid who checked me in but it obviously set off about experience the entire time & I have to say they were 4-5 other staff members behind them including a manager who could have said you OK? Is there something else, can I help you? Horrible all around. The manager will pretend they want to take care of it now that there is a negative review but make no mistake Hugh has taken no action to reach out.

Nick was our server and took very good care of my grandparents and the rest of my family while we were here. Food was hot and tasty and the golfing was fun as always.

I enjoy golfing at this location (Angry Birds is my favorite game). The food is mediocre in my opinion. Not much flavor for the price you pay. I’ll definitely revisit for the games.
