Review:
First time trying 2 Asians and a Grill, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The food didn’t taste fresh, which might be understandable at times, but the rice was overcooked, mushy, overly salty, and greasy, almost as if oil had just been poured on top. There were also some burned bits mixed in, likely from sitting on a warmer too long.
It was also clear that at least the chicken wasn’t made to order. When people dine at a restaurant—especially at around $30 for one serving—they expect freshly prepared food, not something that tastes like it’s been sitting for hours.
I won’t be returning, but I wanted to share my experience so improvements can be made. My advice: at the very least, prepare the meat fresh and ensure the rice isn’t overly salty, oily, or burned. For the price point, the food should feel freshly cooked and enjoyable.
I had high hopes for 2Asians 1 Grill, but this was hands down the worst food truck experience I’ve ever had. The wait time after placing my order was over an hour, which is completely unacceptable for a food truck.
Despite the name, I only saw one Asian guy running the show, which already felt misleading. I ordered two full meals: one steak with noodles, one shrimp with noodles, and an order of egg rolls. When I finally got my order, there was only one bowl. When I questioned it, the guy admitted he messed up and combined both meals into one bowl. I told him that wasn’t what I ordered, but after waiting so long already, I didn’t want to wait even longer for it to be fixed.
To make it worse, the noodles were terrible—looked like cheap spaghetti noodles drowned in some weak, bland brown sauce. The steak was tough and tasteless, and the shrimp were few and completely unseasoned. I’ve had better meals from frozen dinners.
Save your time and money—this food truck is a complete disappointment

I really wanted to like this place, especially because the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. Seriously, such a sweet person. But I have to be honest about our experience with the food.
I ordered the chicken hibachi with rice, my cousin got chicken with noodles, and my friend had orange chicken with half noodles and half rice. Unfortunately, everything was very greasy and lacked flavor across the board, even the yum yum sauce, which is usually a highlight, was bland.
We were all pretty disappointed, and I’m actually writing this while still sitting in the parking lot. It just didn’t meet expectations, and it felt like the kind of food you might only enjoy late at night after a night out, which does make sense given the hours they’re open.
I really hope they can work on improving the flavor and quality, because the hospitality was there, and I’d love to support a business run by such kind people.

If you know, you know—Two Asians and a Grill serves up the best hibachi in the city, hands down. This late-night food truck is a go-to for anyone craving serious flavor and massive portions that hit every time. Whether you’re rolling out of Hyde Park Café or just need that post-midnight fix, this spot never misses. Right now they’re posted up right across from Hyde Park Café, so you really have no excuse not to pull up. Trust me—once you try it, you’ll be hooked for life.

Just no, no, no.
Drove a total of 40 minutes on that side of Tampa for the food to just be unappetizing. Very, very disappointed. Couldn't even finish it.

I was really looking forward to a steak hibachi, but I was disappointed when I saw that the steak was thinly shaved instead of the typical cubed or sliced steak you’d expect. At $18 bucks I was hoping for a more traditional presentation, and the menu didn’t specify the shaved steak, so I would have chosen something els. Overall the food was great and I will be going back but just choosing another protein.

Love them great people and great food
I tried the steak hibachi, and while the food was decent, it didn’t quite seem worth the price. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel well afterward and experienced a stomachache, which eventually led to vomiting.

they sell “steak” which is really just ground beef and have the audacity to charge 20 dollars a plate for it. this place used to be 10/10 but management and staff as well as food quality have drastically dropped.
