Two Shepherds Taproom is one of our favorite places ever! My pup gets so excited when she knows we are on our way. She loves getting to run around and play with her dog friends. The staff is always kind and welcoming, adding to our great experience! We usually come in the mornings, so we love the addition of coffee from Bean Wandering. We look forward to continue coming here for a long time! ❤️

Best place ever!!! My family has two dogs and this place is absolutely awesome.
Where to even start. First they have regular events that are fantastic. They have dog breed meetups every weekend. We have been to the corgi and greyhound one. The corgi meetup was very active and fun. Also they hold weekly trivia, on Tuesdays. I’ve been going pretty much every week and it’s very fun. They also offer gift cards to the top three finishers every week. We have won 3 times so come on out and give us some competition!
Also be sure to check the online schedule for the food truck offerings. They don’t have a set food menu (due to the dogs) so if you want food you have to come when a food truck is on the schedule. They are usually there on the weekends. I only wish they had some food on Tuesdays!
Also a local board game shop does a monthly pop-up where you can demo their games. That is super fun too!
I don’t drink so I can’t speak to the alcoholic offerings, but I’ve heard from others they are extensive. Also their NA offerings are pretty good. Not a lot of places have good NA beers/mixers available but they have 4 or 5 options which is quite good. Also they have a lightly alcoholic kombucha which is really good!
The dog park is awesome. It’s fairly big, has a large yard, a small water park, and an indoor area. The dogs love it. Plenty of space to run and play with other dogs. It helps that this place is also very active. So any time you come there will be some dogs to play with. Also everyone (staff and other patrons) are super nice. Feels like great community and place to make friends with fellow dog lovers. I would consider going even if you don’t have your own dogs, if you like to pet and play with other peoples dogs. Especially if you want to come to the trivia or board game night.
Definitely recommend to dog lovers of all kinds.
Only caveat is they do not let under 21 in. Makes complete since why, just worth mentioning!

I discovered this place about 2 years ago after trying almost every dog bar in Tampa. By far this is THE BEST dog bar!! With a huge outside area with mini tubs for the dogs to cool down during hot humid days, but also a sizable water area for the dogs to run through. There are 2 indoor areas, they are connected but can but private off for dogs who may be a bit timid to get used to their new surroundings. Food trucks are a plus although not all the time!! They also host monthly breed meet ups to include mutts!! No dogs can/will ever be left out!! The people working here so so amazing!! I’ve know Abby since I first found this place and we became good friends!! The drinks are so affordable and they also have plenty of deals, I’ve never pay more than $30 for drinks each night that I am here. It is so spacious and the dogs are freely to come inside or outside when they please!! Sometimes they’ll even have live bands or weekly bingo/trivia nights. I will absolutely miss this place when I leave Tampa area. I don’t think there is a better dog bar than this. I’m very tried many but this one is the only one for my corgi and I. It is FREE for entry unless you have a dog!! They are so good with their monthly membership like $30 for 30-31 days is unbeatable!! Also you can always DOORDASH/UBER EATS so it will ALWAYS dietary friendly!!

Two Shepherds is hands down the best bar and dog park around. The dog area itself is huge, easily the most spacious of any similar spot in the area, and the dogs absolutely love it. There’s plenty of room for them to run, play, and make friends while the humans hang out and relax.
The staff is incredible. Abby, Ross, Will, and the rest of the team are always so friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about both the people and the pups who come through. You can tell they put a lot of heart into keeping the place clean, safe, and fun.
The bar has an a good selection of drinks and even a full coffee bar during certain hours, perfect for weekend mornings. There are always fun events, themed nights, and a great rotation of food trucks, so there’s never a dull moment.
It’s easily our favorite place to spend time, for both us and our pup 🐾🍻

Two Shepherds Taproom is such a great place to hang out! All of the staff, including Ross (the owner), are so friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. The patrons are kind, and everyone has a great story about their fur babies. The outdoor Adirondack chairs are perfect for relaxing, people-watching, and enjoying a drink. I also love their attention to detail — board games for adults, tennis balls for the pups, and cool murals. We’ll definitely be back!

Two Shepherd’s is the best dog bar/dog park in Tampa. Our dog loves playing in the splash pad, and running free on the turf…yes, I said turf…no piles of dirt at this place. Plenty of shade for humans and dogs. In addition, any/every kind of beer, seltzer, etc and they usually have a food truck in the evenings or on the weekends. The staff is great about watching and making sure everyone behaves, putting dogs on their leash when a timeout is necessary, and asking poorly behaved dogs to leave, keeping everyone safe and the environment neutral. We love Two Shepherds! 🫶

My mother and I visited Two Shepherds Taproom this afternoon with our three dogs. Although we live in St. Pete, we’ve enjoyed coming to your establishment a handful of times and decided to make the trip today for a change of scenery. We were happy to find the vendor market, purchased bottomless mimosas, supported the vendors, and had a lovely time socializing with other patrons.
Unfortunately, our visit ended on a very concerning note. While inside, our dogs were briefly playing with another patron’s dog (an Aussie doodle mix, from what I could tell). Things got a little rowdy but never aggressive, and when we realized it was too much, we responsibly directed our dogs outside. Our dogs listened to us immediately, no questions asked. It actually seemed to us that the other owner did not have control over her own dog. At that point, however, she went to your staff and claimed one of our dogs had “tried” to bite her and her dog.
I watched the entire interaction—our dogs were excited but not aggressive, and at no point did any dog bite, snap, or make contact. When I asked her directly if she or her dog were injured, she admitted she had no marks and could not even identify which of our dogs supposedly “tried” to bite.
What concerns me most is what happened next: when my mother stepped inside to grab our leashes, this woman threatened to choke our dog out and to call animal control to have him put down. A violent threat like that is unacceptable and, frankly, illegal. It is deeply troubling that someone would make such a statement in a dog-friendly space like yours.
I called on our way home to request your contact information so I could share this directly with you. We have owned and cared for dogs our entire lives—including breeding Rottweilers—and we regularly frequent dog parks and off-leash establishments across the Tampa Bay area. Our dogs are not aggressive, and nothing in today’s interaction warranted such a dangerous and hostile threat.
Adding to my concern is that your establishment had no appropriate measures in place to escalate or de-escalate the situation. You had two staff members at the front desk, one person behind the bar, and zero wooferees present to step in when this woman became hostile. There was no staff intervention, no witness statements gathered, and no effort to mediate or ensure a safe resolution.
While we understand that losing our business may not affect your bottom line, it is troubling to us that a person claiming to be a “dog trainer” was allowed to berate and threaten my mother in your establishment without any staff involvement. I am immersed in the dog community here in St. Pete and, until now, we have never experienced anything like this at any other dog-friendly establishment or park. If people ask me about this incident, I will be honest that your staff allowed violent threats to occur unchecked, and I will not be recommending your business to other dog owners.
We would like your acknowledgment of this incident and we are considering filing a police report against this individual for her violent threats.
We truly hope Two Shepherds Taproom takes this matter seriously, reevaluates safety measures, and continues to be a safe and welcoming environment for both people and dogs.
Abby is the best rufferee! I was worried because my dog barks a lot but everyone is super friendly and nice! Highly recommend!
