The restaurant advertises complimentary parking. However, you have to pay the $50 fee to leave the parking lot. The automated machine would not accept the barcode on the sticker provided by the staff. Very disappointed. I would have rather paid the $20 fee at the parking lot two blocks down the street.
Overall, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and good food. It is located on the river and the view is awesome. There is also a playground for the kids too.

Brennan, our server, is beyond amazing! He went above and beyond to help us find the perfect plate, offering incredible recommendations every step of the way. His knowledge, attention to detail, and genuinely great mood made the entire experience enjoyable and effortless. We couldn’t have asked for better service! The food never disappoints us. We love Ulele!!

Date night here, started with the alligator hush puppies which were crispy outside and tender, dipped in that honey sauce. The grouper entree had a nice sear but arrived a tad dry. Outdoor seating by the water was relaxing, server recommended a local beer that went well.

The very expensive grouper entree tasted like highly salted cardboard.

First of all, it’s not fair to put the Water Works Meatloaf in the same category as the meatloafs that come to mind when you think of meatloafs at home. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. It was simply incredible.
First time my son and I had ever tried oysters and we’re hooked!
The muffins were just the right combo of sweet and heat.
Those that ordered the seafood risotto raved about it. One of them said that it was the best meals she’d ever had.
Mac & Cheese had a generous portion of spare ribs.
Great value for the quality of food they serve. We will be going there every time we visit Tampa.
Free valet when you dine which is an added bonus.

My husband and I went to Ulele to celebrate our anniversary and it was such a great experience. Our server, Valeria, was incredible and really made our celebration memorable. We sat outside and it felt like we were tucked away in our own little oasis. The food was excellent - especially the charbroiled oysters. I am not usually a seafood fan, but they were delicious. The short ribs were also outstanding and paired really well with their in-house brewed beers - we enjoyed both the Tampa Green Cannonball IPA and the Rusty’s Red. Valeria went above and beyond to make our celebration truly special with a small gift at the end. I already can’t wait to go back.

Another fantastic experience at Ulele, the perfect start to a date night in Tampa !
Valeria was knowledgeable about the menu, especially the contents of Ulele’s extensive wine collection.
I like to start with oysters, then go for the stuffed portobello with blackened chicken added. Indulge yourself and get more than one dessert, they are all fantastic.
As for beverages, I recommend asking Valeria for her recommendation ;)
Go at sunset which bathes the restaurant in a pristine golden-hour glow, and enjoy a Riverwalk stroll to burn off some of that dessert after dinner !
Best date night in Tampa, hands down.

First time I have eaten at Ulele. The server was very good and the place itself is pretty cool. The calamari was very thin and overly battered and served in plate of grease [the reason for 2 stars]. It was pricey in my mind for what we got. The chili was descent, not the warmest but not cold either. I probably wont go back but would like ti try a real meal ti be fair.

We enjoyed a wonderful weekday lunch at Ulele, with delicious, flavorful food and a kitchen team that was incredibly accommodating of my gluten allergy. While the food was excellent, the highlight of our visit was our waitress, Bre.
Bre is truly exceptional—warm, attentive, and a fantastic listener. She took the time to understand our preferences and made thoughtful, spot-on recommendations tailored perfectly to our needs. Her knowledge of the menu, from entrées to desserts, was impressive, and her intuition and care elevated our entire dining experience. She made us feel genuinely welcomed and created a personalized, memorable experience.
Thank you, Bre, for your outstanding service and kindness. You are a gem, and Ulele is lucky to have you.
