I love this place! Very cute! This place is a cute little shop with a bunch of local or fun finds, combined with a vintage style diner, in a pink building. What a combination! They have coffee, sandwiches, other small bites, and wine. All of the food I tried are amazing! Even sandwiches are fresh and creative. (I.e. they put green tomatoes in this turkey bacon sandwich, made it really refreshing! Loved it!) I also noticed that they change their menu every now and then, made it even more fun to stop by once in a while. Service is always great as well, I've been here a few times, everyone has been super friendly. I would definitely recommend this cute little place to anyone. This is perfect for a quick bite, as a casual work location, or just as a random lunch spot.

Best kept secret, Martin is excellent. The food is delicious, I'd love it if they brought back the chicken sandwich though.

Such a unique place—coffee, drinks, food, dessert and gifts!!! Staff was accommodating. There are about six tables inside and a lot more outside. We had the cafe con leche, horchata coffee, and the sprinkle donut and the s’more donut (buy one get one free after 3). Absolutely delectable!

I guess since this has the same address as the Urban Bungalow, I'm gonna assume it the same place We drove by this place a few weeks back and wasn't sure what it was. In my search for a new brunch place to go to I saw Urban Bungalow and my bf was like I think that's the same spot as Pickford's (that place we saw) We decided to venture to tampa and I'm glad we did. When you walk in, you order at the counter and pay, then you sit with your number and you can peruse all the different tchotchkes (from books, baby stuff to kitchen items and snacks) The service was great and super friendly and the food is amazing! My son could not stop raving about the French toast and my bf inhaled his pickmuffin. I didn't realize how spicy my smothered potatoes would be but it was still really good! Highly recommend this lil hidden gem!

Lots of cute, ADULT items. Didn't try the food; next trip! Unique.

Damn son. These boys got hot fire with the Sammy game. I dined on the fancy egg Sammy. This thing was killer, bread was ultra premium, brushed with some sort of magic elixir, bacon was stellar, eggs be fluffy and savory, some chips in the Sammy for extra crunch, and some of the most flavorful green tomatoes that just sang bay bay. Coffee is no joke, it is bold and powerful. Staff couldn't have been nicer, 4 young men working hard and shaking their tail feathers. Keep it up boys, daddy likes.

Pickford's Counter is the perfect choice for a unique experience. The idea I gathered from it was something like a trendy cute Cracker Barrel with much more upscale food. They have an incredibly adorable gift shop within the colorful and playful diner-style restaurant, but the food is far from diner-esque! I am writing this review a bit late, so my memory does not serve me very well in recalling which dishes we indulged in, but I can say that everything was delicious. Specifically, the crispy rice quail dish was super good, but I kind of wish it was something other than quail, as the crispy rice was divine but the quail was not meaty enough. The sauce included was flavorful though. We also got some sort of pimento dip that came with a bag of classic ruffles and veggies which I found to be a creative take. The steak sandwich was a winner for sure. The dessert was some sort of shortbread cookie rainbow sprinkle with a strawberry remoulade/jam/preserve, that came with very sweet mini silicone spatulas of all different colors. The cocktails we ordered were strong and tasty. Everything is ordered up front before seating, so you don't have to worry about interacting with someone throughout, and can just enjoy the dishes coming out one-by-one! Overall the experience was excellent and I would definitely recommend it for a quiet dinner for which you can come dressed up or dressed down.

Local diner inside Pickford sundries. Staff was attentive, indoor and outdoor seating available. Cute store inside to buy trinkets. food was filling and tasty , will need to come back to try the Chicago style hot dogs

Had their Chicago Dog. Cute spot. Would be fun if you could order ice cream sodas and floats. Shop is cute but doesn't feel like they have found the best product mix.

This place ROCKS for not only the experience, but the food/service. I will start with the experience. Driving down Hillsborough Ave you come on a building that looks like something right out of the 50's. You get the vibe right away this should be fun. They have left much of the prior really-old restaurant/store that used to be here in tact. As you wander around the building you see such treats as an old ice box, stove and a Maybelline display for cosmetics, old cameras, just to name a few. So not only is this a restaurant, but also a museum. Their is a lot of really funny merchandise plus many items for Pickford and the Tampa area it is located in. It was so much fun to wander the two room store both before and after the food. Now the food. I chose the delicious french toast. So good I almost considered it breakfast/lunch and dessert all in one. Another thing I have tried that is highly recommended is the fancy egg sandwich that has so many great flavors it is hard to beat. They have bottled soda like Nehi for $3 each. I tried one called A-Treat frosty cream soda that I'd never seen before and was tasty. The restaurant also brought ice water without asking (thank you!). They have a good amount of tables and seating inside, including at the old- fashion diner counter. Then outside, both in front and in the backyard are some really cute tables for days with nice weather. There is plenty of parking, including overflow behind the fence. This place is the perfect excursion with great food/service to boot. I will continue returning!

This place is so cute and the staff were really friendly. I stopped in based on a recommendation for Mother's Day gifts and I was not let down. I got so many goodies. A few for myself too. I will definitely be stopping back by in the future. Their menu looked amazing too and will have to try some of their food and coffee next time I stop in.

A quaint spot a little outside of the Seminole heights area. Place itself is a self service diner with a limited brunch/lunch menu that changes regularly so website menu might not be accurate. In addition to the diner, the place is also a store with some cool candles/books/knick knacks. That said, the food is very good. Their cafe con leche french toastt is the stuff of dreams. On the coffee side, they've got your standard selection, but solid flavors. The horchata one is a personal favorite. A good addition to Tampa's brunch spots.

An adorable blast from the past with some nifty in-store sundries. Hands down the best, REAL, chai I've had in Tampa thus far. Ordered the hash browns, scrambled eggs, congee grits and chocolate pancake. Quality ingredients with lots of vegan and veg options and great service. They are dog friendly, and had plenty of outdoor seating. We'll definitely be back soon!

After visiting the Market on Florida which was set up in Pickford's parking lot, I went in to Pickford's Counter for a quick look. Should've known I couldn't just look. Cute shop. I loved the combination of off the beaten path gifts and Seminole Heights/Tampa-centric merchandise. The items where spaced out so that there was plenty of room to move which helped create a sleek and clean aesthetic. The food area largely consisted of two long counters. It seemed a throwback to the era of local pharmacies serving milkshakes and drinks. I was very tempted to pick up some vegan goodies (they serve We Vegan Eats brand) but opted for just a coffee. Pickford's serves Commune + Co. coffee. Their menu lists a variety of different drinks, both iced and hot. My favorite part of the menu is that each drinks lists the ounces of coffee to milk. That way I could easily find an iced, more coffee heavy drink. I ordered an iced cappuccino with oat milk and took it to go. With tip, the drink was slightly more expensive than other coffee shops in the region, but the taste was worth the extra coins. I can't wait to come back to experience some of the vegan items on Pickford's menu.
