Waffle House has really gone downhill. I watched the cook pick up a piece of toast that had fallen in between the cooking area and the toaster and then try to serve it. That was absolutely disgusting. I’m glad I was there to say something, because otherwise they really would have given it to a customer. On top of that, charging extra just to order your food to go is insane. Completely unacceptable.

I normally go to the Waffle House on 301 but I was closest to the one on Columbus so I decided to stop in and get me a Texas cheesesteak plate so the cheesesteak was bland steak was chopped up bigger than what I usually get the hash browns were ok. I got mine, chopped covered, peppered, diced. Overall I give them an 6 out of 10 because of the steak sandwich was bland and wasn’t chopped up fine enough.

I came to Waffle House on a slow Saturday morning, and my server Michelle was fantastic! She went above and beyond to check-in on my table and even check-in with her own team and coworkers to make sure that our food was coming out on time. Incredibly kind, and the kind of 5-star service that we were so pleasantly surprised to receive.
