We went for dinner on Sat Nov 15th and ordered crab cake, smash burger, and two cocktails for each of us. Everything was delicious and the service was very friendly and attentive (both waitstaff and hostess). We sat outside in a spot we thought was just for waiting but they accommodated us and set it up quickly and the views were great. The drinks were so well crafted, the crab cake was perfectly seared on both sides with just the right amount of yummy sauce and toppings, perfect burger and fries - delectable. We will return!

My husband and I came to dinner here when we were traveling in the area and left with fat, happy bellies! We arrived during their happy hour, so we got some delicious cocktails to start while we looked over what we wanted to eat. Sometimes we'll order a bunch of stuff because we can't decide and split everything. This was one of those nights! We ordered truffle fries, mussels, chicken wings and seared tuna with fried rice. Honestly we could have done without the fries - there was a mountain of them and we detected no truffle, so I'm not sure what they use but it's on the weak side. Everything else was amazing!! That seared tuna was hands down one of the best seared tunas we've ever tried and the fried rice tasted like it was actually cooked in a seasoned pan. The mussels were cooked perfectly and the wings had this crunchy smoky outside that I'm drooling over as I type this out. We were very happy and will definitely come back if we're ever in the area!

Food is overpriced, attention is fine.
Overall would never come here again. 2 shrimp tacos and some skinny fries for $20 plus 20% gratuities. I would not recommend this. Atmosphere is 8/10 only reason is the view outside to the water. Everything else is mid. Overall 6/10

I own a few small businesses. I met with a client to catch up and vent. Although, it as not very busy which was nice for lunch, it was superb view the inside was clean and everyone seemed welcoming/warm. I really enjoyed the wasabi sauce with calamari, calamari was a little… chewy… not the word to use but not the worst (rubbery isn’t the correct description either) but still good, the hint of pomegranate hidden in the molasses that was on the Brussels was a nice surprise and added flavor level. My client and I both had burgers. I got mine with no onions but I did add jalapeños(which I’m hoping were made in house, nice flavor and spice level) and bacon, Juicy and flavorful, with the horseradish Dijon it was a flavor party. Superb for an afternoon and late birthday outing for us both! Def looking forward to another return!!

Food sucked, they changed the menu from what it said on open table and it was very disappointing, place was empty
We enjoyed a really great dinner here! We were able to sit outside and enjoy nice evening weather and a view of the water. Even though we were the only outdoor table, the service was still very attentive! I enjoyed the short rib tagliatelle and it was fantastic! We’ll definitely be back.

Three of us ate dinner outside to enjoy the sunset and end-of-day heat relief -- it was delicious and beautiful. We had the swordfish, amberjack, and New York Strip. All of the sides were delicious (really, really liked the crispy Brussel sprouts!). Two of us wanted mocktails and they delivered a mock mojito that was great, along with a version of a pina colada that was tasty. We ended with Creme Brulee and Key Lime Pie. We ate outside based on other reviews commenting on how loud it can get inside. It was the perfect evening, soft breeze with a great view of the water and a well-behaved stream of adorable dogs quietly walking with their people. Lovely full sensory experience!

I had a legendary experience at Watervue Grille in Downtown Tampa, Harbor Island. The service, the menu and atmosphere was outstanding from start to finish, everything moved so smoothly. I highly recommend the grouper tacos—the flavors were incredible and they were gone so fast I forgot to take a picture! If you’re looking for a fantastic meal with top-notch hospitality, this is the place to go. Especially on a Saturday between 11-2pm! Everything is so fast and fresh. Thank you 🙏

The food and service were great. The restaurant itself has a nice, friendly local vibe with outdoor seating as an option if you're looking for a quiet spot with a view. We will definitely return!
Love the food. The service was amazing, the people are so nice and respectful.

It was very good. The food was delicious and the server was very nice. We will definitely comeback!
It had been a while since we checked out Watervue. We weren’t too excited last time when we repeatedly witnessed the bartender and servers using their bare hands to grab garnishments for drinks. Totally grossed us out. Yesterday, we decided we wanted a cocktail and dessert while out for a walk around 7PM (it wasn’t busy for a Saturday which surprised us) and thought we would stop in and give them another try. I asked the young man at the entrance if there was a dessert menu and the reply I received was … uuugh … we gotta lotta stuff. He said it in a low tone dopey voice. He knew absolutely nothing about the service industry. We could tell right then that we were not in the right place and went across the street to Motorworks and had fantastic service and dessert! Come on … do better. Act like you have some sense.

The location is nice and the crowd seemed to be a local. The waitress was very nice and accommodating . My friends and I got 3 separate drinks and none of them were anything special. We got the crispy brussels which were good and a very large portion. Between the 3 of us we got the salmon bibimbap, the airline chicken, and the grouper tacos. The chicken was fine but very under seasoned. The salmon was covered in hot sauce and also under seasoned. The grouper was not cooked well and under seasoned. The fries were tasty. The cost seemed high for the portions of the entrees.
I have been to Watervue SEVERAL times but this time was different. From the beginning, starting with the drinks. I usually get the Lotus (my fav) but it was NOT good. My cousin and I ordered chicken wings and fries. The fries were cold and the wings had no seasoning at all. We spoke to the manager whom did try to rectify the situation. I will say this is not typical for them but this visit was truly disappointing.
Great water view location . But absolutely no vibe . Great bartender but food is average. Especially for the price. 2 tacos $20+. No thank you
