Ordered online lunch on Thursdays, their special of the day was Chicken Enchilada's. These would have been great, but the person who filled the order read it as the lean option instead and we didn't open them until back in the office. We specifically stated that we wanted the daily special. I sent the restaurant an email, but there was no reply. Very disappointed, not sure if I will ever go back, as this isn't the first problem we have had with food and service at Brightside.

Had the tex-mex meatloaf sandwich special. Quick, easy, creative and delicious! Couldn't have asked for more!

Took forever to bring out a breakfast order. The food was barely warm and the toast showed up a little latter. I was the only person in the place. Hash browns were hardly cooked, raw in the middle. The latte had way too much flavoring in it.

I visit BrightSide at least once a week. They serve breakfast all day and have a broad menu with various options to suit anyone's lifestyle. Around lunch time it gets really full so you may wait a while. The food is always great and they take pride being personable and meeting any dietary requirements. Keep it up!

Fantastic fare. Superior Service! Thank you Kizzie! I had ordered coleslaw with my Gouda chicken sandwich.… Then I saw someone’s fries on their plate. The first staff person that passed by me....I asked if I could change my order to french fries. And she said yes! I was so happy. Now my tummy is very happy
Let me start with the positive - these are some of the friendliest people I have ever met. But... I might be wrong, because many of the people I work with love this place, but the food is pretty bland. It's like cafeteria food. School cafeteria food. The restaurant itself gives that cafeteria vibe. Go next door and get an awesome slice of pizza.

Chicken Philly sandwich delicious. Best Philly sandwich I have had anywhere. Nice salad bar, lots of choices. Friendly, helpful staff. This will be my "go to" place anytime I'm in Tampa.

Downtown lunch spots can often be boring. I was taken to this place for lunch this week, and was nicely surprised, right from walking in. The people behind the counter greeted us as if we were old friends. They were happy, social and looked like they were enjoying themselves. They have sandwiches and salads, but they also have hot plates with a selection of sides. I went with their mojo pulled pork, black beans and rice and mixed veggies. My friend had chicken with yellow rice and beans, plus mashed potatoes and gravy. And when we left, the people running the cafe talked and chatted with us some more. Very nice. I can't wait to bring my wife here. Since he was treating me, I don't know our cost.

Excellent cafe! It is a short walk from the Convention Center, but definitely worth the walk (plus you need exercise while attending conferences!). I had to go back twice for the French Toast, which is simply some of the best breakfast I've had in my life. When they say it is, "Dipped in our signature cinammon-vanilla batter then loved by our hot griddle" they ain't kidding. These people know French Toast better than Tampa knows heat -- it's really that good. They also had a diverse menu, and the friendliest staff in town. Really, you can't go wrong here, I'd go back for the hot-griddle loving in a minute!
