First, the pizza was legit, and great thin crust wood-fired. But, from the list of 100 wines, they only had about 7 to choose from, which made ordering a glass or two quite a chore! My husband found one to drink, but I settled for a generic beer instead. We asked for a personal (8-10”) pizza for our son, and ended up with a 12” pizza (along with the price). Some of the glassware was visibly dirty, and when I went to use the restroom, the walls and doors looked like they could use a thorough cleaning. All in all, it was ok, but I won’t be raving about it!

We moved to the area a little less then a year ago, and have tried several different pizza spots. This by far has been the best. We had the Carnivore pizza.

Man, I want to give this place 5 stars so bad, but the service was ridiculously slow. The server on this rainy Sunday afternoon was super friendly, but with only 3 tables I would have expected more attention to not only us but the restaurant (clearing tables, refilling waters, etc.)The pizza cook was super unenthusiastic and was overheard saying "I'm not doing that on a Sunday..."We were there 20 mins before out garlic tips and pizzas went in. No idea what was happening in the meantime but we were the only table sat during that whole time.Sadly, they were out of almost everything we wanted. No cesar salad, no caprese salad, no spin dip. We found it odd to be out of so much on a Sunday afternoon. Now, on to the good stuff. The food was incredible. So simple and so good. The romanesco sauce was exceptional. The Sette pizza was ridiculous. Again, 7 cheese blend and oil but man, so flavorful.I'm sad we ran out of room, but two pizzas and garlic points were enough.I'd go back for takeout again in a heartbeat but unless I wanted a long (really long), slow meal then I would likely not dine in again. But to reiterate... food - 5 stars!

First time visiting after hearing so many good things about the place. It almost looks nondescript in the corner of the plaza. Once inside, the place opens up into a large dining area. There's a huge bar near the entrance, and next that is a real wood fired oven. There is no hint of smokiness or heat. Service was almost immediate, but the truth is we were one of two tables in the place. The place is a little on the dark side. I don't know if that's supposed to create some ambiance? The menu has many good choices. We went with the Carnivore which is a large pie with sausage, pepperoni, and meatball. There was a lot piled on. One thing I kind of didn't care for was the slices were cut unevenly. So you had some smaller triangles and some really huge ones. The crust was awesome! A little char and the perfect amount of chewiness. The sauce just the right amount. There was a lot of cheese that reminded me of those cartoons where the cheese creates the long string that continues to grow. I had a nice sangria to go with my meal. At the end with a tip it came out to be around $50.00. A final note. Because of where it's situated it may be difficult to get out of the parking lot. It took me several minutes to be able to get onto the roadway.

The waitress was so rude. Their card reader wasn't working and made us wait 30 minutes to charge us. Then they took it to a different store to charge us and we got a 9 dollar fee. The manager sat there that whole time not saying anything. Really bad

The most terrible experience I've ever had so disappointed what I thought that I had ordered was a regular large pizza with pepperoni and meatballs or what you call a meat lovers pizza came out to be just a pizza with literally nothing but cheese and not even tomato sauce and I spent nearly 20 dollars !!!! Never again will I be spending my money on this establishment do not waste your time or money at this location even the waitress was terrible she definitely should be fired or be retrained on customer service etiquette I'm beyond pissed !!!!!

This was the best pizza we have had in a long time. Benisel was very polite and did a great job explaining the menu and treating us wonderfully. Will for sure come back here!

We had dinner last night and there were 5 people in our party. The artichoke & spinach dip with dipping bread was amazing. We also tried the meatball appetizer and it was delish. We had a pizza with prosciutto, cheese and Brussels sprouts that was so yummy. Light airy crust- not greasy. Our server Lira was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. What a great find in the Tamp area!

Incredible place! Lira, our server waited on us and provided impeccable service. Started with a sampling of wines from their huge beer and wine selection. The pizza is made in a wood burning oven and tastes like no other. Paired it with a tasty salad. Many dessert choices- tried Nonnas cannoli which was a fantastic choice.Highly recommend this neighborhood spot for a fine meal!!

Incredible place! Lira, our server, welcomed us and provided impeccable service. The pizza is made in a wood burning oven and tastes like no other pizza we've ever had. We paired it with a tasty salad. The cannolis are mouth watering and delicious. Huge beer and wine list with samples provided upon request. Not to be missed!!! The pictures don't begin to do the food justice.

We loved our pizza, spinach/arugula salad and Chianti! Great service and ambiance. We are just visiting, but would love to go back

$20. + dollars for a pizza, burned on the bottom throughout and no mozzarella at on basically a margarita pizza. Ridiculous!! How do you forget the mozzarella on a three ingredient pizza.

We went for my 6yo's birthday. Lyra and Blaine provided excellent service and offered input to help us order. The flavor of the food was AMAZING!! Aromatic and Savory. We ordered two items and then proceeded to order more: meatballs, wings, artichoke dip, and a very large pizza. You can tell Wood Fired Pizza and Wine Bar cares about the food quality, flavor, and experience of their guests (of all ages.)The atmosphere was quiet, family friendly, and relaxed. I'd come back for dinner any day of the week.
