We have always had excellent food and service here. The atmosphere is contemporary Japanese and very relaxed. Yoko herself is usually on site making sure that everyone is well cared for. This is a big local favorite and I bet it will become one of yours as well.

Absolutely incredible experience! The food was outstanding and priced perfectly an unbeatable combination. Make sure you don’t miss their amazing happy hour specials! A huge shoutout to Veronica for her exceptional customer service, she made the visit even more memorable!

This review is long overdue. Yoko’s is fantastic for truly authentic Japanese food in a great atmosphere. We are always welcomed with warmth, and in the 15+ years we’ve been regulars, have never had a bad meal. The staff wear kimonos in the evenings, and everybody is so kind. Yoko, a native of Okinawa, is often present and is a really lovely person. Particularly delicious menu items are Hatashimono and Yoko’s edamame, and we appreciate that we aren’t charged a fortune for a good bottle of wine. Five stars all the way around!

I LOVE this family owned restaurant! It has always been my go-to place over the last 20 or so years and still today. Consistent good quality food, and great service! Yoko is the sweetest lady, and I love going in and seeing old acquaintances - different people from all over the community in there from time to time when I dine in. It’s always great to run into a former mayor or a teacher of my daughter. Just a little gem in South Tampa.

Yoko’s is authentic Japanese food and the best you can find in Tampa! Amazing owners and staff! The chefs are very creative and will accommodate any requests and discerning palate!! I have been a loyal customer for years and have not found any other sushi that matches the quality or taste of the dishes and rolls at Yoko’s.

I’m not into sushi but I was taken here by my family and it was delicious! Highly recommended and amazing atmosphere!
