The food looked good but the first thing I ate was gross. No idea what it was but nasty baked BBQ chicken tasted nasty and when squeezed turned into a play doh consistency yes playdoh. Needless to say we left I was grossed out after one bite and couldn't eat their after. When I told the staff just giggled and got quiet. Told manager was not area. Was not offered refund or an apology. You won't see me there again. Not a very nice place.

I was a huge fan of this place... until this morning... 11:30 and less than half the buffet was empty... The fried chix was hard and dry outside, greasy and hot as hell in the middle (microwave?), The fried shrimp was cold, the baked fish was mushy and bland, but the worse was when I asked for Silverware.... The grossly incompetent guy on register actually tried to give me plastic.I'll give them one more chance, but it better be fantastic or I'm done with them

I'm not too much of a talker but the food in the place was pretty good fried chicken seafood it tastes good plus they have a beautiful salad bar and a salad bar it's excellent everything looked fresh worth the trip

Somebody dream of opening a buffet/restaurant came true. My reality of quality food did not. Ok the salad bar was somewhat decent. Shrimp was on ice with sitting tartar sauce sitting out and no lemons. All vegetables cooked seam to be canned and sitting in water and no flavor. Even corn on the cob was soft watery. Meats sitting for long periods of time. Unrecognizable to say the least.Thought it was dried pieces of liver but was told it was steak. Fried breaded what? Fried okra? No fried mushrooms. Hell I don't know... Roast ready to cut but nobody to cut it but somebody had played with it. Desserts....pies and cake look dried out sitting in the air not covered. As I try to find the good in getting out I actually wish I had stayed in... As my wife says Im being nice with this review

I went at approx 4pm. I disagree with some of the people saying the food was not fresh. Maybe it's the time of day that makes a difference, I don't know? My experience was perfect. The food was hot, fresh, full of flavor, and delicious. There was steak on the buffet, contrary to what someone else said, they probably only put the steak out for dinner though. The price was extremely reasonable as well. Personally my service was fine. Only issue is that, I did notice another group of customers that did have to wait a few minutes for the cashier, who appeared to be on some kind of break.

I have to say the food was good the service was good the atmosphere was what one would expect from a buffet style restaurant. The wait staff was wonderful and the food was hot so contrary to the previous reviews that I've read after actually going to eat there Yummy's Homestyle Buffet gets five stars from me.

Wow is all I can say I only gave a one star because the server was so nice. But the food is a totally different. Horrible horrible horrible. Everything look like it was boiled. No taste they didn't even drain the water alittle bit. Everything just sitting in water. The string beans was canned with extra water. The okra tasted like it was frozen. Don't let me get started on the Mac and cheese. It's was so watery the noodles was sliding cross the plate. They take your money at the door cause they know it was horrible.. I don't know who the chef is but they need a new one

it is a buffet and the food is good.. The employees are friendly and helpful.
Friendly and efficient staff, kept checking on us, removing empty plates, filling drinks and asked several times if everything was ok. Limited variety of food available on buffet bar however they kept it filled and the food was good. Reasonably priced, clean restaurant and nice atmosphere.

Run from this place. There is barely any food on the buffet and what is there has been there forever. The lettuce on the salad bar was old testament old, there were 2 pieces of catfish out on the buffet and they were there when we left. Mashed potatoes tasted like nothing. They only condiments they have are have steak sauce but they don’t have any steak on the buffet. Even the fruit looks awful. All in all this place is one of the worst places I have ever “eaten” at.

My husband and I thought the place is close when we arrived in the parking lot because it’s past 12noon and there’s only one car plus ours.When we got in, the girl who is the greeter/cashier/waitress asked us to pay first then we can sit down.There’s an elderly couple eating inside and no one else.We got our food and tried a little bit of everything.I should say in all honesty since I’m a cook myself,the chicken and meatballs are very salty,the fried catfish and the rest of the dishes are not seasoned well.It says in their advertisement they serve steak and seafood but there’s no steak I’ve seen.Shirmp & catfish for seafood.Their dessert consists of pumpkin and apple pie,,cheesecake,cookies,ice cream ,old slices of watermelon,few pieces of grapes,slices of oranges and ice cream.They have salads too.And a lot of big flies,THAT’s what made me and my husband got out right away since all the food are uncovered.We will not go back.

Went twice 2 times once at noon and then at 6 pm, both times terrible. Food dried out bad, cold, no flavor. Don’t waste your money. The first time we went the staff was good. This evening she was terrible.
